Zofran pump

Hello I just got placed on zofran therapy at 14 weeks. I had a lot of nausea n vomiting my first 10 weeks it went away now its back full force for days I couldn't keep anything down got dehydrated plus I think my stomach got irritated bc I could see blood I just thought after 12 weeks those thing subside Im jus nervous bout any meds even though they say its safe has anyone had this and for how long the pump that is

I didn't need to have the pump but I was on Zofran pills for the duration of my first pregnancy. Like with any medication you have to determine if the possible risks outweigh the symptoms you're experiencing. Being dehydrated (which can cause miscarriage, preterm labor, and low amniotic fluid) and vomiting blood is definitely not good for you or baby. I would listen to your ob and ask all the questions you have.

I would not have survived first tri without Zofran and I'm still on it 2 weeks into 2nd. I can't even keep spit down if I don't take it at least 1-2 hours before I wake up for the day in the mornings, and if I don't I'm throwing up til 6-7pm. Love it!!!!
