hi! I have been so nauseous the last two weeks! My doctor does not want to give me the prescription pill and told me to try ginger pills. Has anybody tried ginger root capsules or have any suggestions? I will try anything!! Thank you!!

Ginger chews can help some too. I found that peppermint tea helped more for me than anything. I was so sick my ob gave me zofran for when I really couldn't stop throwing up. It was a good 20 weeks of puking. Hope yours is less!

Camomile tea helped me as well as ginger. I used peppermint oil to smell but not to ingest. If you get heartburn, you might want to stay away from the peppermint. It relaxes your esophagus and can exacerbate acid reflux.
My OB today recommended vitamin B-12 and Unisom, but this can cause drowsiness. I can't imagine being more exhausted than I already am (debilitating fatigue is my main symptom so far), so ginger might be worth a try, though I was told to consume it in moderation when in concentrated form like tea. Camomile tea is on the list of herbal teas to avoid during pregnancy that my doctor gave me, and I was also told to drink peppermint only in moderation, like once or twice a week. It's probably an "err on the side of caution" thing, but ultimately I'll probably decide just to stay away from herbal teas altogether. So far I haven't missed them, but I also haven't been violently ill, just queasy on and off. Good luck!
