Sore nipple after plugged milk duct

My right breast was pretty tender on the left and right side a few days ago. I tried heat therapy, massaging and pumping while at work. It did not come unplugged until I had my little one nurse for awhile when I got home. Now my nipple is tender when she latches on and the spots that were plugged ache as soon as she starts nursing then dies down. Have you had this issue?

This has happened to me twice so far! The best thing I have found is to keep my baby on the sore side as much as possible. It hurts like crazy but in like 2-3 days mine was better. Good luck!!!

I think this was about to happen with me as well! I just nursed longer on that side for as much as he would stay and it seems to have healed itself.
