1 week left!

so I am 39 weeks today and it seems the past weeks have taken forever !!!! I have not changed in dilation or effacement in a month! Drs will not induce due to a low lying placenta earlier on. So I guess we wait and look for signs of labor! Anybody else is this boat?

I'm also due a week from today! My doctors don't check my cervix until my due date, which I think has been much easier on my psyche than constantly thinking "ok, cervix says this today, maybe it will be today?!?"

My doctors schedule inductions a week out from the 40 week OB appointment. So if I don't have her by next Wednesday, then they'll put me on the schedule for the following week. Fingers crossed this little girl decides she would like to come on her own before 41 weeks!

Good luck waiting it out. It's been tough being on this month board and being due late in the month, watching all these little babies pop up every day. It will be our time soon enough though.

I am due a week from tomorrow.  Because I am 38, they will not let me go past my due date  so i know that a week from tomorrow I will have the baby (or at least induction started) but the waiting is so frustrating.  I have been having contractions off and on FOREVER!  I stupidly did let my Dr. check me this last appointment and I am dilated to a 1.  I know this doesn't mean a damn thing but it does start to mess with your head.  

Being an "end of the month" due date and watching all of the other momma's having their babies is enough to drive any of us crazy!

I'm also due a week from today!  Had an appt yesterday and was 50% effaced and not dilated at all...haven't had any contractions either.  I think the baby is just too comfortable!

I see the Dr. next Wed for another check and a sonogram (I have GD).  If nothing has happened by then we'll probably schedule an induction. She doesn't want me going much over my due date b/c of the GD.

Joining the due a week from a day club. I feel that this one is stubborn too and I am going to be overdue. My first surprised us as 38.5 weeks but this one seems really comfortable. I am exhausted and do not want the entire family visiting at the same time if I have to be induced right before Labor Day.
