Middle Name for Milo

We're expecting a little boy this winter. We decided his first name will be Milo, but we're a bit stuck on the middle name. We like classic names, and name popularity isn't an issue for us. His older sister is Eleanor.

I LOVE Milo Oliver, but DH isn't a fan of Oliver.

The only one we've agreed on so far is Milo Oscar, but we actually have a cat named Oscar. Is that too weird?

I appreciate any feedback or suggestions you may have!

I love Oliver, but if your H doesn't I guess that doesn't matter Oscar after the cat does kinda weird me out but people would get over it unless you use both names.
Watch out for initials with vowel mns. May not want him to be MOM.

Haha! I forgot to mention our last name starts with a G. MOM would definitely be a no go.

I don't think it is too weird to name your kid Milo Oscar. The cat will eventually die. Sad, but true.

That's what I was thinking. He'll outlive the cat, so if that's the only name we end up agreeing on we should go for it.

Milo Oscar is good. I find it a little odd with your cat named Oscar as well, but not a huge deal

I love Winston, Henry, Elliott, Alexander, and Finnegan. DH is extremely picky, so I'll have to see what he says!

I would go for it if you named him Milo Oscar purposefully to honor the cat. Is that weird to say? I mean, if he's a really great cat and you intend to tell your son his middle name was after the cat, that's fun and meaningful. If you're hoping everyone will forget you had a cat named Oscar, that seems odd.

I think the cat sharing the name is strange. You wouldn't recycle one child's first name and let it double as another child's middle name, and this crazy cat lady over here considers her cat to be her first son haha.

I like milo James. I don't like milo Oscar or any other middle name beginning with O since the first name ends in O. That might be an unpopular opinion. But milo James is nice!

Milo and Oliver were my top 2 boys names and my dh vetoed them both. So im partial to Milo Oliver
