Kiinde system & freezing breast milk, making bottles

anyone else out there using the Kiinde system ? I've exclusively BF at this point -7 weeks but have to start giving bottles to go back to work - I'm wondering how much to freeze in a Kiinde bag since the bag IS the bottle and once they drink out of that it must be used within a couple hours - so I don't want to freeze 6 oz bags= 6 oz bottles or it will be wasted . How are the rest of you doing it ? It seems like such a waste of bags to do like 5 or 6 2oz bags ....also how much will an 8 week old take at a time ? TIA !

In my experience my son only took 2- 4oz every two hours til he was 1 year old he went to daycare starting at 13 weeks old.

I have been using the system for a few weeks in addition to breastfeeding. The warmer is awesome with the bags...it works with bottles as well but I prefer using the bags. I have only been warming refrigerated bags so far since I'm building my freezer stash. I've been freezing 5-6 oz per bag since saving less seems like a waste of bags. My LO takes about 4 oz per feeding so worst case I waste an ounce, but I was planning on defrosting the milk in the fridge in advance instead of straight into the warmer. That way I can transfer what i need to a bottle and just heat that and keep the rest refrigerated since it's good for another 24 hrs. It kinda defeats the purpose of the system but my LO had issues with the kiinde nipple so we use joovy bottles. We may try the kiinde nipples again later.

Thanks ladies us we are currently trying to get LO to take the Kiinde nipple its hit or miss - but I do really like the bag for a bottle system it offers. So far I've been freezing 2 oz bags but may also do some 3 and 4 oz bags, I'm afraid with this system it doesn't make sense to do more than that of your LO takes the Kiinde bottle...
