L & D vent

I've been in L&D since 6:30 for a scheduled induction just for being past my due date. They are short staffed and haven't been able to start my induction since I am low risk (which of course I am grateful for) but now they are talking about possibly sending us home. I am so disappointed that we have been here for five hours possibly just to go home. I know things happen and I'm trying not to get upset about it, especially until I know for sure but I'm hormonal and I can't help it lol. I just want to meet my baby girl!!

I understand how you feel. I've had several moments this pregnancy where I get disappointed and frustrated even though intellectually I know it's not a big deal. I hope L&D calms down soon and they get you in. I know how it feels to be ready to be done! Fingers crossed! [-O<

Ugh that is frustrating. Unfortunately it's just one of those things that's out of anyone's control. Hope you get to stay and they get your induction started soon!

Thanks for the support ladies, they sent me home :-( back in on Friday. I am having some contractions so hopefully they rev up and she'll come on her own before then!

Bummer! It stinks to have your heart and mind set on something, and then have it delayed.  FX for you that baby girl makes her appearance on her own!
