So I've never had a problem with my siatic nerve and always wondered when I had a back pain ... Was that my siatica? Ummm now I know it was not b/c I am having that pain now and it is not fun? I can not sit cross legged anymore or I won't be able to get up. Horrible shooting pains! And just last night I got the pain laying in bed ... Crossing my fingers it doesn't get much worse ... 18 weeks to go!
QOTW: SLEEP! Ha that was a joke. I do not plan a single thing after baby is born. This being #3 I have learned the key to survival for me is to get plans in place so I can feed and care for baby and sleep when he sleeps whenever possible!
1. How far along are you? What is your EDD? What size is baby? 10w+1 - a prune; the Ides of March (2016)
2. Age at delivery? 36 (and a half haha)
3. Any other children or fur babies? 3 kids (5y boy, 4y girl, 17m boy), cats
4. How are you feeling? Any recommendations for dealing with MS, aches, pains, etc? Exhausted and nauseated - nothing helps with that. Chiropractic care and massages from my doula always help with my aches and pains!
5. Upcoming appointments or milestones? Rants or raves? 36th bday is on Tuesday - same day as my next appt/sonogram Already tired of the "number of kids" comments - yes we know how sex makes babies.
QOTW: What is the first thing you will want to do after the baby is born? Find out the sex! We never find out until they get here! Nurse, bond. Then let the older siblings meet him/her.

1. How far along are you? What is your EDD? What size is baby? 35 weeks/ Due Sept 24th.
2. Age at delivery? 37
3. Any other children or fur babies? 2 girls, 2 dogs.
4. How are you feeling? Any recommendations for dealing with MS, aches, pains, etc? I've been swimming almost everyday and have been feeling really good.
5. Upcoming appointments or milestones? Rants or raves? I'm trying to get to 36 weeks without needing insulin for GD because then I might dodge it altogether. Also want to get to 37 weeks because GD puts you at risk of pre-term labour. Am I right in thinking 37 weeks is the point at which they don't try and stop labour, assuming all else is well? I keep meaning to ask my mw.
QOTW: What is the first thing you will want to do after the baby is born? Assuming my blood sugar levels all go back to normal, I am hanging out for this custard fruit tart thing a local bakery makes. That is of course after all the newborn snuggles with my baby boy.
. How far along are you? What is your EDD? What size is baby? 34 weeks! Cantaloupe, a 5lb cantaloupe according to my last ultrasound.. Scheduled csection 9/26/2015

3. Any other children or fur babies? DS2, 3 furbabies that are testing my patience lately!!
4. How are you feeling? Any recommendations for dealing with MS, aches, pains, etc? Feeling ok, really tired 24/7 which isn't compatible with getting all the stuff done that I need to get done before DD get's here! Did prenatal massage 2 weeks ago which was HEAVEN, may go again next week. It helped my hip and leg pain for a good week until it came back
5. Upcoming appointments or milestones? Rants or raves? As my Dr put it yesterday, there's not much else to do right now except sit and wait for the baby!
QOTW: What is the first thing you will want to do after the baby is born? Well I've really been craving spicy tuna sushi with a beer or a glass of wine, I'm not picky!

@browneyes_326 I had a chiropractor mess up my sciatic nerve once adjusting my hips. I laid down on the bed and had my husband very gently, but swiftly tug on the leg that my sciatic nerve was hurting on. It gradually got better until it went away, so may be try that if you're feeling brave!
36 weeks, due September 27th with baby being the size of a...honey dew melon? 6 lbs. 4 oz. already!
36, "advanced maternal age!"
No living children, one early (genetic) loss and one hairless cat!
Feeling good physically, just nervous! Sour candy helped with my "morning sickness," massage helped with back tight/soreness and one of those big pregnancy pillows helped with sore hips initially, then I probably should have gotten a maternity belly. My baby just "dropped," though and the hip pain went away!
Had a now weekly appointment today and had my first contractions yesterday morning so they did a manual exam. I'm not dilated, but I have been losing some of my mucus plug and my cervix is even shorter than it has been (it was already short due to a LEEP in '05), has moved (apparently it changes position?) and is soft! They'd like me to keep her in until 37 weeks, so I've been told not to clean out any closets...which is ironically what I was working on last weekend!
The first thing I'll do after the baby is born is easy some beef/turkey jerky and a sandwich!
Hoping everyone is doing really well, this is so scary and I still worry sometimes at 36 weeks!
1. How far along are you? What is your EDD? What size is baby?

2. Age at delivery? 37
3. Any other children or fur babies? Son- 5, English bulldog, cat, 4 chickens
4. How are you feeling? Any recommendations for dealing with MS, aches, pains, etc? MS has started to fade for me (though it was evening sickness in my case), but ginger tea (chunks of ginger and honey in hot water) and sushi ginger helped along with sea bands and Diclegis. I have lots of bloat from progesterone suppositories, and ther is no cure for that. I also injured my back recently, and have been laid up in pain. I need to find a chiro or other specialist who can help with pregnant ladies.
5. Upcoming appointments or milestones? Rants or raves? Cell Free DNA test on Thursday, 12 week u/s on the 21st. Went to L+D for bleeding last night but all is still well, heard the heartbeat and felt a million times better.

Lots of radiating hip pain at night, slightly less once I start walking around. Backaches and headaches every now and then. Still getting exhausted a few days per week and need a nap.
A pregnancy pillow has helped with being able to get some sleep, but I also need to get a bed platform. We sleep on a mattress on the floor and it is increasingly difficult to get up.
5. Upcoming appointments or milestones? Rants or raves?
Anatomy scan in one week! We also find out the gender and I can't wait!
QOTW: What is the first thing you will want to do after the baby is born?
After crying tears of joy, having a nap while DH bonds with baby and getting the visits from relatives out of the way: I am going to apply immediately for baby's UK and US passports (as soon as we get home, not from the hospital bed, lol)

5. Upcoming appointments or milestones? Rants or raves? Had my first u/s this week with the RE all is on track just one day shy of my LMP ( This was a total surprise pregnancy (elated but surprised!) so not sure of my O date so being only one day off my LMP made me happy...beta's are doubling great last one was 5850..so we are hoping to see a flicker next thursday when I go for my weekly u/s.
