when did you look "down there"?

I had my daughter 3 and a half weeks ago. I tore during delivery and had to have stitches. I have no idea how bad the tear was or how many stitches I was given because I was too afraid to ask! I still have some minor bleeding but the pain is pretty much nonexistent. So..my question is, after delivery, how long did you wait to look "down there"? I'm afraid that I'll be scarred for life if I look to soon lol and I have no idea what to expect...

Just as a heads up, this may not be the best board to post this question...most of us are either thinking of TTC or just started.

I looked a few days later. It was definitely an interesting sight... If you let the curiosity get to you and you decide to look, don't worry. What you see isn't permanent damage. You will heal nicely with time.
