US store help

I live in the UK and my sister lives in Portland OR and is due to have her 2nd child in about 4 weeks (my mum nearly lost her mind when she found out both of us were pregnant and she'd have 2 new grandkids in 2015!)

I'd love any advice on good US stores where I could order some nice clothes/gifts online for the baby (don't know if boy or girl), or something nice I could get for her as a new mum - all recommendations welcome!

I definitely suggest seeing what is close to her online before ordering in case she needs to return. The two large baby retailers are babies r us and buy buy baby. They sell a lot of the same things but each is "exclusive" to a few brands. I shop at buy buy baby just because it happens to be closer.

ETA: I see she's in Portland and I'm on the east coast so it may differ over there

Nordstroms. Macy's. Gymboree. All in Portland, all have nice clothing selections. If looking for toys/playmats, etc, try Galt Baby.

If she is gender neutral/team green you can always buy diapers via target/babies r us/buy buy baby. I was team green and its the gift that keeps on giving considering how expensive it is.
Also not sure when she is due but I had asked my brothers for a jogging stroller but if she isn't active any stroller will do. A lot of them can be a carseat stroller combo or the seat will strap into the stroller. This has helped me get out of the house!
You could always ask her what she wants. I was very up front with my brothers.

For gifts I would order from Janie and Jack, Pottery Barn Kids, or Nordstrom.

They make beautiful things and are all over be US.
