There's a huge margin for error in ultrasounds. I wouldn't worry about two weeks at 28 weeks, especially if the baby is proportional. They moved my due date and a friend's due date up a week b/c our babies were measuring ahead. My friend just had her baby, who they were telling her was going to be 9+ lbs. based on ultrasounds and her baby ended up weighing 7 lbs. We also had a scare where our baby's (brain) ventricles measured large via ultrasound so we were sent for an MRI and the MRI came back normal. Have you seen a specialist? I know it's hard, but try not to stress (b/c that doesn't help) and may be start trying to take it a little easier. (The less we do, the more blood gets to the baby.)

yes i went to a high risk doctor today and they officially put me on bed rest they told me i cant be doing too much because this can be the cause of my baby not growing in the right percentages he also told me that the babys blood flow isnt goin normal thats why they had to take me off work. or the baby may come early or die in the womb

Horrible! O.K, I've had the same problem for the last two months. My baby was measuring big, hence then pushing up my due date, then my placental resistance started increasing. Do you know what your number is?

Bed rest is good. I was on it and started to do more once she reached viability, which is also when my placental resistance went up. If you take it easy, then she should start getting more blood. Also, I know it seems like it's the answer to everything, but try to drink more fluids. More fluids, more blood volume. If not caught, then it can cause fetal death, but since they've already caught it I have no idea why they'd tell you that. Worst case scenario, my doctor said, is the part about inducing early. She said that this isn't something that goes from bad to worse overnight and that they will have time to intervene if they need to. Also, my number was high, lowered, then rose again but not as high as the first time. Despite your doctor's bluntness, it does sound like they're on top of it. Just try to relax and follow their instructions. Despite their delivery, their best rest advice is good! I'm still on couch potato rest myself, so feel free to reach out! This app doesn't always work on my phone.

If your cord blood flow isn't good or getting worse they most certainly may induce you early to get baby out if they aren't growing and may do better in a NICU. So bed rest is a good idea if that can buy you a few weeks. At this point every day/week counts so try to relax as much as possible. Are they monitoring you weekly if not more? I have heard if you get under 3rd percentile or baby stops growing they may take you soon, so I just hope they are properly monitoring. My doctor said if/once they see blood flow partially reversed they may take action as if you wait until completely reversed and growth stops may be too late. Just remember every day the odds are more and more in your favor. Keep us posted !
