Anyone else in similar situation?

i had a mmc the week of July 15. Supposed to be 10 weeks but no hb at appointment. Baby stopped at 8.5 weeks. Had a D&C July 20. I am exactly 4 weeks post procedure today and my doctor told me I should start to expect my first period around now. I was a little cranky and crampy last week which is usually a sign but nothing. I was advised by my doctor to wait two cycles before we try again. How long for you all before you got your first cycle after a D&C??

I had a miscarriage in february. I did not have a d and c because it all happened naturally. I guess.. They said it wasn't needed. Anyway I am now 10 weeks pregnant so we are excited and nervous at the same time. Just trying to get past this trimester. After my miscarriage I had a normal cycle the very next month. I don't know if that is rare or not but I also have always been regular since I started having my period. So sorry for your loss.

I had a D&C and got my first period exactly six weeks later. It was very short and light. My doctor (at the time) recommended waiting three cycles (so we did), but I saw a fertility specialist afterwards who told us that there was no science to waiting. My only concern was giving my uterus enough time to build itself back up enough to support a pregnancy, but my periods were also very light (so I didn't feel like I had much in there for a fertilized egg to attach to yet).

I have had 2 Mc, neither of which required a DC. The first one, I got my period 1 month almost to the day after my HCG hit 0.
With the second it took 9 or 10 weeks for me to get a period. I too have alway had very regular cycles, but sometimes it takes a little longer for the body to reset.
My second Mc was in October, we started trying after my first period, and got pregnant on the second cycle. I am 26 weeks now.

@Knottie1432264442, I got pregnant the second month we tried and am currently 34 weeks as of yesterday.

I was so regular too that's how I knew I was pregnant to begin with. I guess I'll just keep on waiting

I got my first AF 42 days after my D&C, I was temping so knew I ovulated, it gave me peace of mind a little bit because I knew what I was looking for to see that the end was near.

I got my first cycle 3 weeks after my D&C. My second was 2 weeks later. We were advised to wait 3 cycles before TTC. We waited 4 due to my first two being so close together and I want to be sure my lining was built back up. It took a while for me to be emotionally ready as well.

Did I never answer this? I hate this app! So far, so good. 37 weeks on Sunday! Here's my e-mail if you ever want to message me, I don't know why but this app only works half of the time for me!
