Target registry problems

Anyone else having issues with target?

They keep telling us that we are getting double gifts... (When we aren't)

We registered for about 70 things in the store.. Printed our list... Shows 10 items because the rest "aren't solid in stores" --Bullsh%t we literally JUST scanned them!

Even their website keeps acting up... My shower is next weekend.. I hope the print outs get fixed by then... My cousin called and asked if I really only wanted 10 things... Oye.

Also have they stopped making the original Bumbo?! We can't find them anywhere!

I too have been having registry issues! My shower was last weekend and people were telling me that they had issues getting items scanned off of the registry soo most people didn't even bother using it or looked at what I wanted and found comprable items. Today my biggest issue with target online was that it was tax free holiday in my state and I also have my completion coupons so I went online to order a ton of stuff that we still needed and the website kept kicking me off! When I finally could order it wouldn't take off the taxes. I called costumer services, waited on hold for 30 minutes, final got to talk to someone and we fgot disconnected! So then I had to call back again, wait on hold again to have them tell me that if I could t get it to work tonight to call tomorrow after I placed my order and they would credit me the amount of the taxes. Ugh

I recently had issues with someone else's registry. Instead of sending two different items that I purchased, they sent two of the same item. Not registry related, but I received a wrong item from them recently too. Target needs to get it together.

My shower was Saturday, and I noticed several items were purchased but did not come off the registry.

We didn't register at target because my SILs wedding registry was such a disaster and that was 2 years ago! So frustrating that they can't get it together.

Yep, Target's registry bites the big one.  I had the same thing with things being purchased twice that I only wanted one of, but in reality I only got one.  I also had issues with things not being taken off the registry (but other things they bought were taken off).  I got a duplicate of one item and had no gift receipt, and they gave me a hard time because it was still on the registry saying 0 of 1.  I was like, well, two were purchases, so I don't know what to tell you.  Also frustrating is that they will take it back off the registry when you return it, even if you are returning it because it was a duplicate.

I did not have the same issue with things not showing up though I don't think.  However, I noticed online a lot of items that say "online only" but they actually are in the store...no wonder no one bought them, how would they know?

I had issues with people even finding my registry at all. Even I myself can't login to it sometimes. It tells me there is not registry under that name - even when I've made 110% certain I've typed everything in correctly.

My only issue I ran into with target was once I got my completion coupons. I guess my email glitched and the link wouldn't work. So now I'm fighting with them to get my in store coupons. Its been 3 weeks.

Otherwise most people who got me duplicates told me they didn't look at the registry so I just signed online and added that we received an extra one so I could return it. Or I would return the 1 it shows and go back on and still mark it as fulfilled when they made it 0 after the return.

And the bumbo has had some questionable reviews (babies don't always fit in it with chubbier thighs, its not good for their spine, etc.) so maybe retailers are avoiding carrying it.

@Krysta6 I'm having the exact same issue. I went into Target yesterday to buy out my registry and couldn't get the stupid link to work! I went to the customer service desk to see if they could give me a printed version and they wouldn't. So frustrating!

@furelise93 if you email them they will send you online codes but there are things that are only available in stores so I want the real coupons. Once you use the online codes they send they won't work anymore.

I don't have one, but they have the original bumbo seat at walmart.

My shower was Saturday and one guest told me she had gone to Target and printed my registry and there were only two items on there....I registered for like 100 (not planning to get everything, but I knew I'd be able to use coupons on what was left)....There are more than two items that are sold in stores too. WTF....

Oh, also, my best friend registered w/ Target as well. Her travel system (a $350 Britax one) was marked as fulfilled almost 2 months prior to her shower (and her in-laws had said they would probably buy that for baby)....Welp, turns out it was never even purchased. It was a fluke. She wasn't mad that no one had bought it for her, but she damn sure was mad that she hadn't saved up to buy it herself as she would've done had the registry not said "fulfilled."

If people are having a hard time bringing up your registry online I would advise them to try a different browser.  The host of one of my showers said that she couldn't look me up on Wal-Mart.com.  Turns out that she was using Internet Explorer (and luckily my DH is an IT guy and figured that was the problem).  I tried on mine and the same thing happened....looked it up on Chrome...voila!  It was there!  Now you guys have me freaking out about Target!  I better go in there this week and try printing my registry and see what happens!  My showers are this weekend and next!

Online ordering at Target sucks!  My registry had problems and when I recently went to order diapers, it kept telling me my cart is empty.  It was like that 2 years ago too with my first.  They need to get checked!

My target registry was nothing but problems as well.. I finally gave up closer to my shower and moved most of my items to a baby's r us registry. Things were either constantly out of stock/discontinued, or my registry would disappear completely (had 4 different people call me to tell me they couldn't find it), or things would show as purchased when they were not.

My friends all went in together to buy our car seat and even though they tried three times to enter their own address as the shipping not address, it came to my house and spoiled their surprise. I was obviously just as excited but they were disappointed they didn't get to see me open the gift and rightly so. Get it together target! And over the weekend my registry showed the boppy pillow as purchased but now it's showing unfulfilled. So frustrating.

I have had problems too! Most of the time I can't get into my registry. When I try to search for things i have seen in the store, I can't find them. Why aren't they showing up on the website when Ijust sa them in the store!
My worst so far was trying to take something back off the list. We changed our mind on an item. I added the new one but it took me over a week of trying several times a day to remove the old one! I could edit anything but that....eveytime I clicked on it, it would just say "sorry, something went wrong". Arggg!!!!

Yup, they are saying we have more items purchased than we do. They doubled scanned items. The app changes all the time about how many items we have registered for.

We had problems returning with our wedding registry but not with the registry itself.

Babies r us is screwing up to. They aren't taking things off and they aren't giving us our rewards.

Ah man! Sounds like this is just the start of my headache! Thanks for sharing ladies, it's too bad I'm in such a small town and target is my only option... Lameeee

My only target saving grace is that they have the best completion coupon! 15% and then with their target debit card that's another 5%.

My number count keeps changing. It keeps deleting and re-adding the extra car seat bases (for DH's car and our moms' cars) I registered for, as well as the changing pad covers. >.>

Same problems here! It says a different number of items every time I check it. Things get added and deleted all the time. So annoying! I've called 10 times and they are "working on it." How do you get the completion coupon after your shower? Do they email it?

I know this thread started with Target but would like to hear about Wal-Mart if anyone registered there?  I went last night to try to add items with my phone.....no dice!  Everything I would scan said....item not found.  Was very frustrated!

Yep, half the stuff I registered for doesn't show up when you print my list. It says it's all out of stock. A lot of our big ticket items didn't show up so we'll be purchasing those ourselves I guess.

@jenspeake Walmart isn't much better. We live in the Kansas City Metro w/multiple stores and only 1 within about 30 miles claims to have the "facilities" to have you register in store and their scanner isn't working. We ran into this issue with our wedding registry so I got excited to see they have the app that claims to allow you to scan in store. And like yourself every item we scanned claimed to be not found. I am from a small town where my shower will be held and the majority of the attendees will only be going to Walmart which is the closest store to them.

UPDATE: I went back in a reprinted the registry yesterday. They must have fixed some bugs because now only a few things are missing from the registry. So that's good... I guess... its still not listing the high chair because "its not sold in stores" even though the one I scanned and 10 others are sitting in an aisle.. grumble grumble..

I have had a much better experience with the target registry app (iOS) than their web page. Overall, Amazon has been the easiest to work with by a landslide. Good luck!

Guys, I just discovered that Amazon gives a 15% completion discount for Amazon Mom members. I thought I'd only be getting 10. Guess who's adding to her Amazon list tonight??

Maybe the items are online returned items and that's why you're seeing them in store but the registry says different? However, if there is a lunch there that doesn't make sense.

They seemed to have fixed the app too. It was saying we had a lower number of items on it than we did.

I got a discount for huggies wipes through Amazon mom and went to move stuff to Amazon so I could order individual packs of wipes for the diaper bags. They were charging $13.99 for a 3 pack when target is charging $5.99!!!! Be careful with that evil temptress Amazon!

ETA: their app scared me this morning as it made me re-login and then acted like I didn't have a registry yet! But good news-- I logged in on my computer everything was there and all my completion coupons were there ready to be used!!! Shopping time this weekend!
