Hi ladies! Who else is in their 2 week wait?!! Cycle buddies are great for support!

Im received my 3rd IUI today. FX it works!
The appointment went well! My husband had a great sample; I have 4 mature, great follicles.
They talked to me about the chances of multiples. Round 1 I was nervous about that talk, round 2 I was slightly nervous but knew what to expect, round 3...I laughed! Lol I know I shouldn't, but I couldn't help it. I had 3-4 follicles each previous IUI... Not pregnant both times!! I doubt quads will happen... But If I get quads (I will be nervous) but blessed! More to love :x

Today I am resting all day! Letting my body do what it needs to do.

Anyone else have IUI or IVF transfer today or recently? How did your appointments go? How are you feeling?

Had my first IUI on Tuesday, beta is on the 24. I had a 'heavy' feeling in my uterus yesterday morning (as if AF was coming), but now all is fine. Acupuncturist told me with a little smile it was normal at this time, so I can't help but think he thinks it's a good thing because he's always so straight face. But I don't want to have false hopes either. If fertilization happened, implantantation should be sometimes this week.

I'm in my break from fertility treatment but hoping this month will be a natural miracle. I'm pretty sure I O'd on Wednesday, so I'm currently 3dpo and expecting AF on the 26th. It's crazy, but I think I even know the time to the minute my egg was released. It's so insane to me how in tune I've become with my body throughout this process and can't believe how I didn't notice signs of O before and even a few months into trying. Now, I couldn't ignore them if I tried (which I actually tried this cycle as I wanted to take the most relaxed approach to my month off).

@Colleen0516 Your reaction to multiples made me smile. I have a feeling I would react the same way. I O on my own, but don't respond to Clomid, so the plan is to move on to injectables next month (assuming no natural miracle), and the risk of multiples absolutely terrifies me. At this point, I'm actually rooting for twins. Triplets overwhelms me, but I could handle it. Quads and up though...omg...pretty sure I would faint and freak out for a while!! Best of luck to you!

@KidShrink I'm hoping your acupuncturist has a sixth sense and you've been experiencing positive signs!

I had my first IUI last Sunday and Monday. Definitely had that "heavy" feeling for about 3 days but don't feel much of anything right now. Hopefully this isn't a bad sign! My MD wants me to home test on 25th then make appt for beta, but don't know if I can wait until 25th that seems so long!!!

@riveridgional lol... I had my time to freak, now I'm pretty sure I'm not having multiples. I agree with you though. I want twins really bad! Triplets make me nervous, and overwhelm me too. Quads- I don't even know what I would do, lol definitely panic but then figure it out!

It is crazy how well we grow to know our bodies. I'm the same way... I notice every little thing now. Bittersweet.

Do any of you girls exercise during your tww? I'm a big runner, so I've been just doing the elliptical for an hour then maybe just lightly run a couple miles or walk. My md said I didn't have to stop working out altogether, just don't do a marathon lol just looking for feedback if anyone else stays active or if their doctors tell them otherwise! I think I'd crack up if I couldn't work out!! Lol

I do, and my RE approves of it. I think it would also help with blood flow, and if you do get pregnant, then exercise should continue (although maybe lighter) anyway so delivery and recovery are easier.

I still run and do yoga. My doctor just told me not to start anything new. So if someone isn't a runner don't start running now and just continue with your usual routine.

@laur2444 during my 2ww I wasn't able to workout as much as I wanted to. I was feeling more tired and had lots of cramps. I usually like to workout 6 days a week, but had to cut out the circuit training and do more light strength training. I actually found the jumping around and ab workouts were irritating my cramps more and made it worse.

Ok good this makes me feel better!!! My husband is always on my case that I workout too much, so he's been giving me an even harder time now even though I've drastically cut back the intensity of my workouts!
@babyexpress I don't feel any more tired than usual and the cramping I felt for Monday Tuesday and Wednesday after the 2nd procedure are pretty much gone now. I do find myself going to the bathroom like every hour today. Possibly from the progesterone my RE has me using?

@Colleen0516 yup! I nodded at the whole multiples speech today too! Yup yup, put it in there! I had lining at almost 8 yesterday and 1 19 follow left and 1 19 and 1 20 on the right. So fingers crossed! My first IUI didn't hurt at all, just speculum then I felt nothing. Different doc today and felt her bump my uterus, not pleasant. Now had cramping?? Or something all afternoon. Heavy isn't a bad way to describe it.

FYI: for those on ovidrel, exercise is not recommended for 3 days after injection due to the risk of ruptured cysts. And sorry to be Debbie downer bc I love my running, but over exercising can contribute to an ovulation and poor egg quality. Google Harvard Study Ovulation. Docs will always say continue, but really your plan should be based on your specific fertility issue and BMI. ;;)

@Colleen0516 I saw stars as well ( the 2nd IUI was worse and I immediately broke into a sweat. I thought I was 1 of the unlucky ones that felt pain during IUI. Even my RE was surprised.

@babyexpress hitting the wall was the worst! Sharp, intense pain. But even when they don't hit the wall, my regular iui's still kinda hurt me. I get very crampy during the process. The speculum obviously provides a lovely discomfort lol-- then when they thread the catheter and inject the sperm, I usually feel it all, and it's not pleasant. My RE said that it's totally normal though? Maybe it's not?

@Colleen0516 it must be normal for some people. Maybe it depends on how aggressive your RE is with the insertion. I'll take the pain over and over if it produces baby

My 2ww ends this Thursday. Can't decide if I'm going to test before then though. When do you ladies typically start testing? The only things I'm feeling are breast soreness and swelling and cramps on and off. I think what I'm feeling is due to the crinone progesterone gel I'm taking.

I have NO WILLPOWER I test at 9dpiu... Then wait a day and test again...I torture myself monthly lol
But I always HOPE that I will get one of those infamous faint lines.

I was possibly going to be out of town next weekend, but now we'll be staying home...so that means I have one FRER easily available...I'm also debating, as I don't want to ruin the weekend if I get a negative (which could be a false negative for testing too early), but I'd also love to get to see that mysterious 2nd pink line I've never seen a little early if that was possible. Beta is next Monday...8 days to go!

I'm 7 days post iui and I'm already getting antsy. This is my first go at this stuff. My RE said to home test on 25th but i don't think there's any way I can wait that long! I don't really feel much of anything right now...no breast soreness or cramping and I'm on crinone too @jlynn330 . I just feel like I have to pee all the time and it feels heavy when I try to go to the bathroom.

I will test 10 dpo or later and really try not to testablish before 11dpo. However, I won't test on a weekend (unless AF was due then) since I figure I couldn't even call the doctor at that point to make a beta confirmation appointment. It would just ruin my weekend if BFN and even if BFP, I don't think I'd be able to fully enjoy it needing to wait on the beta.

I had my retreival Aug 3rd and transfer of 2 lovely blastocysts on the 7th. First beta tomorrow and second in Thursday. I had some cramping about the time when implantation would have occurred. My boobs are extremely sore but I am also on crinone. I have had 6 rounds of IUI and 1 IVF that resulted in my almost 2 year old princess. This time I feel much more relaxed and patient about the results. Good luck to everyone in their 2ww!!!

I recently had my ET (Tuesday) and for some reason have to wait 2 weeks for beta. Seems a tad long for a 5dt. So, I'm going on day 6 of the wait and I'm trying hard not to get discouraged. I had some twinges the other day. Some cramping (which I keep fearing is AF) yesterday and today. My breasts are swollen and sore. Of course, I'm on Progesterone and just started estrogen patches so I just feel like my body is so damned confused. I went grocery shopping yesterday and felt crappy. Hot flashes, irritibility, some women's perfume made me wanna puke. I started out all positive but the past 2 days I feel like I'm bumming out. I can't believe I have to wait another friggin week and a day! God help me!

I'm praying and crossing my fingers for all of you! You never know how strong you are until you really have to be.

I had my FET of 2 embies on the 13th. I had my first blood work today and beta on the 21st! This all new to me... Super excited and very reserved!!

Hey @ohGeeze. I'm with you. IVF FET of 2 embryos on Sunday the 16th. Continuing with estrogen and progesterone in oil. Feeling some cramping right now I'm kind of worried... Need to stay positive. It's tough. Fingers crossed. This has been years of treatments in the making. FET was rough this time too.

Hi all! I had my first iui on the 7th of this month using a speem donor. My husbands reversal failed and decided on that route. This 2ww is driving me crazy. Friday will be two weeks and can test depending on if AF shows. Since about 6 dpiui I have been campy on and off which is not how my body normally is in a regular month but I don't want to get my hopes up........... Grrrrrrrrrrrr only 3 more days

I am new to bump. We have been trying for an year and a half+. Last year had amenorrhea and was diagnosed with PCOS. We tried three cycles with Clomid naturally, no luck. I had my first IUI last Friday with Clomid 50mg. Had one follicle at 18mm and had LH surge. Beta to be done on Aug. 28th. Keeping my fingers crossed.

@nprl sounds similar to me....hypothalamic amenorrhea with some pcos too...just had my first iui a week and a day ago....we went straight to injectables instead of trying clomid...doctor didn't think it would work for me.

@laur2444 I thought Clomid would not work since I could not find O day with my previous cycle of Clomid. My RE was happy with my lining, had a dominant follicle at 18mm day before IUI and had a positive on my OPK the day IUI was scheduled, based on LH blood test. Cautiously optimistic! GL to all!

I had my 2nd IUI yesterday (have a 15 month old from IUI too). 4 follicles at (20, 16, 13, 13) 11 mm lining on CD10, triggered at CD 11. Definitely O'd a few hours after IUI. Ovulating 4 eggs hurt!

Omg I've been waiting to be able to reply to these boards! I just joined this cycle and finally got the go ahead today! Lol

I'm in my tww right now but I had my FET done. We had 8 failed IUIs and a failed Fresh IVF so far and this is our first frozen since our failed cycle. We transfered 2 babies last Wednesday and I had my hormones checked yesterday! My progesterone went up but my estrogen went down. So I'm not sure what to think. I go in Friday for my beta. I'm so nervous and so excited! I'm just waiting for this week to fly by!

One week down for me, one more to go! How is everyone else doing? What are you doing to get you through the wait?

I'm thinking about going to the store and buying craft supplies. This past week hasn't been too bad, but it's always a little easier for me when I know it's too early to test or tell. I found myself squinting for spotting today, yelled at myself for doing that, and decided I must come up with a distraction plan soon!

5 days to go to my beta, but I got my cheapies in the mail today. Got a little carried away...used two with pee and saw the faintest of faint lines. So as a true scientist, I did a control with water. In comparison there's a squinter super faint line which is non existent on the water one. I won't get excited just yet, but it's too late, I'll likely be testing like a maniac til Monday. FX for everyone (and please give me some strength not to test every time I go to the bathroom!). My acupuncturist is really playing with my mind, I'm exhausted, and have random nausea throughout the day. Please let this not be the effects of progesterone...

@kidshrink Ahh!! I think this is your month! Faint lines are a myth for me lol I always see white; nothing but white!! Can't wait to see what your beta says!
If you get a dark faint line tomorrow- scratch the cheapies and go buy a digital!
