Bleeding Again

I'm a FTM and my DD was born July 13th (one month ago, can't believe it)! I know that after giving birth you can bleed for quite sometime... I wanted to know if anyone stopped bleeding for about a week and then started back up again. I go for my check up on Monday, but thought I would see if this has happened to anyone else.

That happened to me, It stopped for a week and a half then started again. The second time was very light, no bright red blood, just a bit of pink every time I wiped. That only lasted 3 days and it stopped again.

I'm only 2 weeks PP and haven't stopped the first time yet, but the discharge nurse did tell me that it is common to stop and restart. Apparently their is like a scab on the inside of the uterus where the placenta was attached. Some people will stop bleeding and then that scab eventually falls off which will cause them to bleed again for a couple of days.

Yep. Happened to me this time around (3rd time mom) I barely bled at all. (Had a c section) and then about 2 weeks post partum, after nothing but spotting. I stopped. Then about a week later, or close to a week, I started bleeding for a couple days, then spotting. 4 weeks later I got my first period and bled thru 2 tampons an hour. 3 pads in a couple hours for 2 days, then stopped.. Lol it's been weird

Yea. That's what I was told happened to me. And when they say scab.. There not kidding! Big globs of old blood.
