I have always been a gym-goer, trying to work out and stay healthy and eat good probably 75-80% of the time. Can't say I'm ever gonna give up pizza or toast on the weekends, but I have really trying to stick to eating healthy and clean. Lots of home cooked meals, smoothies with veggies, salads, quinoa, brown rice, chicken, that type of stuff. Now that I am about 6 weeks, I have no energy to workout, but I manage to fit in a nice 15-30 min walk everyday. I really wanted to eat much cleaner now that I'm pregnant and try to cut out the junk causing any unnecessary weight gain since I haven't been working out as much, but NOTHING sounds good.
Fruit and crackers with peanut butter, and salad with chicken and some sweet potato fries were some of my meals this week, but today it just hit that nothing sounded appetizing, and after wandering the grocery store, pop tarts were the only thing that I could stomach. I don't want to continue giving in to junk that sounds good, but how do I keep up with eating healthy when nothing sounds good? I figured I could try more fruit/veggie smoothies to get it down that way, but any advice so I'm not living on ritz and peanut butter? lol

Re: how to eat healthy when nothing sounds good?!
For me, I have morning/early afternoon nausea, so it's toast/plain pasta and water for lunch and then I have to push the rest of my nutrition in the evenings. Not well rounded, but that's what the 2nd and 3rd trimester are for

I've been craving strawberry toaster strudels!
See chicken sounds so disgusting right now, nothing sounds good except toast. Its like when your sick and nothing sounds good except bland soup and toast or crackers. I do feel like I need to push myself a little more to not think about it and just try to eat what I know is good and I am sure it will taste good.
