I searched for other posts regarding late ovulation bbt and nothing has been posted recently (April was the most recent).
Here is an example for all those that are TTC for the first time and aren't temping yet. It may not be for everyone but I've found it extremely helpful. Last month I O'd on cd10. But due to stress I didn't o until cd20. While ovulating on cd20 is still extremely normal I just wanted to reassure those that haven't ovulated yet: don't worry, do not frantically Google and think you are having an anovulatory cycle or convince yourself you are infertile. just relax and let nature take its course.
Also, if I wasn't bbt at this point I would have probably taken a hpt test thinking my period is late and received a bfn. Stressing out even more...But now I know that if I do see AF, it will most likely be 2 weeks from now since my LP is about 14 days and does not vary from month to month. Usually only O can vary. Bbt also helps from not having to take a million hpt, informs you on when they will even work.
See my chart below. Prime example for just relax... Our bodies aren't always a strict schedule. Though some of us wish they were
(Btw this isn't a question or anything. Just wanted to show how helpful bbt can be. I heart science)
