My baby is 17 days old today and I never breastfed, most of my milk is gone except there is a hard lump in both of my breasts still, is this some milk that isn't dried up yet or something serious??

Maybe a plugged duct? Does it hurt? Have you tried massaging it out in the shower and hand expressing?

it's doesn't hurt at all and I'll try that! I've never hand expressed before though.

I've been drying up for a week now and my boobs are still hard... I just think it takes some time to go back to normal

Had a few painful lumps, I took a hot shower then pumped and it helped a lot!! I'm starting the process to suppress lactation.
