I'm about to test. I was supposed to get my period yesterday. Still nothing. Got a bfn on Sunday. And beta is this Friday.

Bfn again. Ugh. Oh well. I wonder where my period is then. I'm so regular.

I'm so sorry! I hope AF doesn't show up and that you still get your BFP. I don't test anymore. It's too hard to see the BFNs. Getting AF is pretty tough too.

I'm so sorry..that stinks...I think some of these medications can mess with your cycle and delay it but I'm not sure..my period was a week late after my BFN but i was on estrogen and progesterone

Thanks guys. Yeah I was just on clomid and ovidrel. Not sure if that delays it.

My cycles on meds were always 2-3 days longer.

I've always made it a rule not to test until the am of my beta. You'll make yourself crazy. Cycles aren't usually regular when they're medicated.

Remember, you're not out until you're out. FX for you.

I was supposed to do my beta on Friday as well but AF came on Tuesday. I'm surprised that it didn't prolong AF but she came on time. I went and talked to the doctor today and my husband and I have decided to do IVF. I start on Friday.

I've heard that clomid extends your LP. I know another girl who was on it and AF was almost 5 days late for her after taking clomid. I'm sure it also depends on the person though. Who knows, maybe you are pregnant it's just not showing up on a PT yet!

I hope so @AdorkablePixie although this was my first iui and I'm preparing myself that it really didn't work. Won't really know until Friday. Still no AF. if it's the meds delaying it I'm kind of upset about that because my entire life I've been so regular and now I'm not.

@Drove2u I hear ya.  My AF has always been on time as well.  If she is inevitably going to come, I just want her to get here already so I can make my next appt.  I'm afraid its going to fall on a weekend now.

@babyexpress I have never in my life been late. Well except last year but that ended in a miscarriage. I guess I just have one more day to wait for my beta to confirm bfn.

I'm sorry your hpt was negative but it doesn't mean you're out necessarily.
Also, are you on progesterone supplements at all?

@MrsBwIVF nope. No progesterone. I got that checked last week and they said my levels were excellent. I only took clomid and ovidrel and I have unexplained infertility. My husbands numbers are perfect too. So not sure why I would be late.

Try to keep your chin up and if you need to cry it out, do it! But you aren't out until that beta! Fx!!!

Thanks @MrsBwIVF not to the crying part yet. :-) plus this was my first iui and not really expecting it to work. I will cry after the second round not working. Lol.

@AdorkablePixie exactly. I will feel very lucky if it does. I just read where some people didn't get bfps until like 5 days after their missed period. I'm hoping that's my case since still no AF.

Don't give up hope. There was JUST a woman on here that took a few tests that were negative and her beta was positive

I agree! I'm really hoping you get a positive beta and it's just not picking up yet on the HPTs (especially because I think you said you were testing after work and not with FMU)!!!

I would keep a positive mindset even though it's your first IUI as I think each IUI has the same chance of success - it doesn't go up each round.

You're right. And when I tested my pee was basically like water since I drink so much. Water that is. Lol. Maybe it just hasn't picked it up. I will be so shocked if it's positive. I do still have another evening to get through though and AF may still show up.

@Drove2u hi! I am on my first found of clomid and ovidrill as well. My RE has already warned me that my cycles may be slightly longer on a medicated cycle.

I just can't believe I'm three days late. I have never been late and hope the meds aren't doing this. Will find out soon.

JusT got back from beta. Will be finding out in the next 5.5 hours. I'm freaking out. The doc also said the clomid and ovidrel is supposed to regulate you not delay your period. So either in pregnant or have a cyst or something. They said they can tell if I will be getting my period soon based on blood test. I'm seriously going to be counting down the hours until I get that call.

@Drove2u : it's true that it just regulated things for me (making them a normal 28 days). Hopefully that means a BFP for you! They would see where your progesterone levels are and how that compares to your CD21 check. I had a blood test when my period was late and they told me my progesterone was at 3.5, so my period was coming soon. See the graph I attached.

Thanks. Yeah I'm really crampy but have been for a couple of days and feel like AF is coming any second now. 3.5 hours max till I find out.

@Drove2u I am counting down the hours too.  Can't wait to hear.  Thats weird your RE said clomid would regulate you because my RE told me to not be surprised if there was a delay.  Mine came right on time yesterday, so it didn't delay anything for me.  FX for you! can't wait

@Drove2u NOOOOO.  So much for twins with multiple mature follies. I just got back from RE and requested all my numbers so I can compare for next time.  Turns out I only had 1 mature egg at 21m, the rest were all to small.  RE is putting me on injections and suppositories now.  Join us over at the September IUI group, if you decided to start round 2.

Thanks everyone. I'm going out to dinner tonight with DH and having lots of wine. Haha. Trying to stay positive and upbeat but today is so hard. Thank goodness for all of you.

Yes! Lost and lots of wine this weekend! That's what I plan to do next Thursday if I get a BFN. Hugs for you! Just think, it will only be two more weeks until you'll be trying again!
