    3. mostly just temping this cycle - PNV/extra Vit D, Metformin, lower carbs and sugar d/t PCOS

    4. CD22 7dpo - I mentioned on 2WW that FF changed my O date.  I had good high temps until this am - dropped to 97.33.  Crossing fingers for the implantation dip?

    5. I'm always hopeful, but we did only get 1 BD in this cycle.  I'm about to start a serious diet so I am looking forward to getting healthy for the possibility of helping my PCOS and therefore, conceiving!

QOTW: What is one of your favorite adult beverages? WINE.  I love my wine.  I love the experience and the social aspect of wine.  Virginia has beautiful wine country and I absolutely love visiting the different vineyards we have.  Breweries have started popping up everywhere, so I may have to get into BEER!

    1. Jill from NC

    2. TTC #1, not preventing since 11/12, actively trying since 8/14

    3. OPKs, temping, prenatals, inositol supplements, evening primrose oil, Vitamin E, Zinc, probiotics, cayenne, Vitamin B, increased dose of Vitex (CD 3-9) and licorice (CD 3-9). Also some herbal supplement from the acupuncturist. She has me on a strict diet of absolutely no carbs/sweets/fruits for 6 weeks, so it's just protein and veggies (I'm suffering)!

    4. CD 9

    5. The acupuncturist has high hopes that she can help get my PCOS in check with diet and herbs but the RE says otherwise. He was pretty straightforward about the fact that I'm not really ovulating and when I do, it's a weak ovulation (hence the low progesterone). He basically said I need to go straight to the drugs and to stop waiting around for something to happen naturally (since we've been waiting for a loooooong time now). He wants to run a bunch of tests to see where the problem lies and then to figure out which drug is best. I'm now on the fence about waiting to see if the acupuncturist can help get my body in balance or just going ahead with the fertility drugs. I guess I'll see what the tests say and what sort of drugs we're talking about...

I don't drink alcohol. I love kombucha, but the acupuncturist has me taking a break from that as well! Blah.

Hope everyone is doing well this week. My fingers are crossed for more BFP's!!!

    3. taking a break from temping, clomid, acupuncture (as of Monday), prenatal vitamins, opks, going to add mucinex this cycle (I'm being a copy-cat, @thistle8677 , since it worked for you)

    4. CD 12, waiting to O... still on "low" from my clearblue digitals

    5. I have all of the emotions.  Often simultaneously.

QOTW: I mostly drink wine.  I do like a dirty martini from time to time, but I'm not really doing the hard hooch right now.

@jilligan14 I'm sorry you're in the predicament of acupuncture vs western meds.  I'm of the "tests can't hurt" camp, so I hope that they help your doctor come up with a plan that you're comfortable with.

    1. Kaydeeaye from BC, Canada

    2. TTC #1 since Sept 2014

    3. Charting, temping, CM, HFE drops and Fertili-tea from ND (don't know if it helps, but couldn't hurt)

    4. CD 14, waiting to O . . .

    5. This is my first cycle being active on the bump boards, so my emotions are everywhere. Lots of good, but lots stirred up just by reading about everyone else. I'm always hopeful, and charting and temping is actually helping me feel a little bit more in control, which is always a good thing.

QOTW: What is one of your favorite adult beverages? I love wine, but most often lately - being summer - I'm reaching for tequila. Not Cuervo shots or anything, but good quality sipping tequilas. I don't drink often these days, mostly because DH is recovering from a brain injury and can't drink right now.

Hello! Another summarized check in for me...
    TTC #1 cycle #3.
About to O. I got a faint line on an OPK this evening and I hope I can catch the darn surge this time!

QOTW: I don't drink alcohol so I guess I don't have favorite adult beverage... I looooove tea though. My absolute favorite is a blend called Festin D'Or from Mariage Frères. Tastes like heaven.

@jilligan14 the acupuncturist's assistant was just saying the other day that a combination of western medicine and TCM is ideal. I would go ahead with the testing and then give the results to the Chinese doctor so that he has a more thorough picture of where you are. I did the same thing here. Did full blood work to bring my TCM lady back home. She said it's always good to have all the info.

    3. Charting/temping, opks and I'm planning on copying @thistle8677 with Mucinex as well. And reaching way up and grabbing fistfuls of CM instead of just checking the entrance. LOL. (I'd tag knottie, but I don't remember all the numbers after her name)

    4. CD4 -- the boring portion of the cycle

    5. How do you feel about this cycle? I'm trying to relax my hopes a little.

QOTW: What is one of your favorite adult beverages? I'm not crazy about alcohol. When I do drink, I have beer or Red Bull and vodka.

@CarrieandRoy , ya'll are cracking me up with the 'fistfuls of CM'!
Ok, I may have to try with the mucinex. It's the guafenesin that thins the the mucus.
I failed to have any noticeable EWCM this cycle. It seems like e/o cycle I get one day/one wipe of pink sticky snot. I'm definitely asking the doc about it at my annual next month.

@dolphin012 - I think Wednesday night is completely fine, unless you've had someone offer to do it for you.
@happyktmom - fingers crossed for implantation dip.
@jilligan14 - I am in the camp of doing the testing.  I don't think it can hurt.  I'm also a believer in melding western medicine with the alternative therapies.  My acupuncturist works in conjunction with my medicated cycles and I love it.  I know you're set on trying things naturally and I'm not trying to dissuade you, but 15 months of medicated cycles in, I sure wish I'd started trying again sooner...
    @CarrieandRoy - I'm laughing...and gagging a little, not going to lie...at the picture you paint!  :))
@Goldsgirl9 - OMG, Miami Vices are AWESOME!

    1. Your Name or Screen Name (not full names) and State you are from.
    Heather (EmsMama15) from MN

    2. How long have you been TTC? Are you TTC #1,#2,#3, etc.?
    TTC #2 for 15 months

    3. What are you doing this cycle? Are you seeking help with a fertility specialist (RE)? If so, what stage are you in? Charting/temping? Testing? Medicated cycles? IUI? IVF? DE?
IUI w/ Gonal F. Also doing acupuncture, Reiki, Circle and Bloom meditation, no caffeine, no alcohol, no pop; significantly decreased gluten (can't seem to completely eliminate it) and sugar; increased protein.  And taking CoQ10, Myo-inositol, PNV, B-complex, Vit D.

    4. Where are you in your cycle? (Waiting to O, 2WW etc) If in the 2ww when will you test?
    CD 6, WTO.

    5. How do you feel about this cycle? (Are you hopeful, anxious... etc)
I'm hopeful, anxious, worried, happy, scared, nervous...  You name it, I feel it.  Last week's worry, I'm chalking up to hormones.  This week, I'm trying to stay zen.  The reiki is really helping that.  But, I can't help but think this is it.  If this doesn't work, I have to lose about 15 more pounds and then a round of IVF.  And then ... I guess we're one and done.  It just seems so final.  It's scary that we only have two chances left.  Ugh.  I shouldn't be thinking it, but I am...  I'm hoping I have about 4-5 good sized follies to work with so I can breathe a sigh of relief for that at least.

QOTW: What is one of your favorite adult beverages?
I haven't had anything to drink in so long, I barely remember.  Seriously though, I do like red wine.  And beer - especially Summer Shandy by Leinenkugels.  Yum.  I could go for one right now.  :)  And the aforementioned Miami Vice.  Delish! :)

Thanks all for your advice/support. Just to clarify, I definitely am going to do all of the testing, I'm just on the fence about the fertility treatments. I guess I wasn't clear about that. But I do want to know what the RE finds and also to hear his suggestion/plan of attack. I also want to give the acupuncture and drastic diet change some time to kick in but am also aware that there isn't a ton of time to waste. I am feeling tired of always waiting to O and it rarely happening...

I start Lupron next wednesday (timed so i come out of the wilderness wednesday and start shots that evening). I organized all meds (new and old) this weekend. Makes me feel more in control :)

@jilligan14  - good luck with the testing. That makes perfect sense to wait and see what the test results hold before making further treatment decisions.

Have a great week everyone!!! I will be back next wedensday eve with the check in!!

@emsmama15 I started orange Theory Fitness 5 weeks ago and I'm down 9-10lbs. You should totally give it a try if you have a location near you. I believe all of them offer two free classes. It's really addicting. I am so hooked. I get up at 4am to go to the 5am class. Major sacrifice but I'm so happy with the results it's totally worth it.

@goldsgirl9, you kind of have me curious about Orange Theory. How much does it cost?  (The website didn't say.)  And do you think it would be okay to do it if I got pregnant?  Is it really intense?

@CarrieandRoy the price varies based on how often you will go. I have unlimited which is the most expensive but rates vary by location I believe. It's great cause it operates like a machine. You get your cardio and weight lifting in and it's not a social hour. There is no time to talk and hang out. They told me other members have done it pregnant up until their 39th week in fact. But it is as intense as you make it. If I get KU I plan on still going and letting the trainer know so I can modify accordingly. You wear a heart rate monitor which is up on the TV screens so you can see where you are at the hole class.
