Placenta encapsulation?

Does anyone have any experience with having their placenta made into pills by someone who services NYC/Queens? Or any thoughts on the process/idea in general?

I had a friend have hers encapsulated and she lived in BK at the time. I will try to remember to reach out to her to ask. But I feel like maybe it was through her doula..? So maybe not a bad idea to try that route.
