Hi ladies, my 2nd af since a D&C should have been here back on the 3rd, is it normal for it to be off for awhile before getting back on track? I've had some mild cramping but still no af. My opks are testing negative.
I had a 53-day cycle after an at-home miscarriage, then the next 3 were about 40 days. So it can definitely make things wonky. But it can be very frustrating, I know!
Me(28) and Husband(39): 10/5/2013, TTC since 10/2013 Metformin 7/2014, BFP 8/14/2014, MC 11/1/2014 Dx: PCOS, cycles 38-72. As of 6/2015 trying to lose weight and fix cycles with diet and exercise!!
My first cycle after my first D&C was 33 days, the second was 36 days, and I conceived my most recent loss that third cycle - but based on when I ovulated it would have been a 30 day cycle. However, I've irregular cycles my whole life so in a sense that was "back to normal" for me.
Well I just took a hpt this morning and it came back positive! I'm going to go get a digital test tonight to check again but wow, what a way to start the day, I'm excited but also scared too. I already have an appt with my Dr next week for an annual so I will be able to confirm then too. My appt next week will be exactly 3 months since the last pregnancy was confirmed, which also makes me nervous.
Took a digital HPT this morning and it said Pregnant 2-3 weeks. I am so happy but nervous. I am going to be positive but cautious until my Dr appt next week, hoping for a sticky baby this time!
Cautious optimism is the definitely the way to go. If you start freaking out just remember that until someone can prove otherwise you are pregnant right now. Best wishes for a sticky bean!!
Aww, this gives me some hope! My first cycle came after my miscarriage at 31 days. I'm on day 47 of my second cycle. I keep testing every so often and think I see some faint lines. Hopefully, I will know something for sure soon! Congrats on your BFP! I hope you have a healthy 9 months!!!
I called the Dr office last week and they pushed back my appt a week, Aug 26th, so they can do the bloodwork and ultrasound. They said based off my first day of last period I will be 7-8 weeks when I go in, even though the clear blue digital hpt said 2-3 weeks. I am so nervous because not experiencing all the symptoms as last time, but I've been told its not the same every time and everyone's experience is different. My hubby and I really haven't talked much about it either, we want to wait and see that perfect little bean on the u/s.
