I feel incredibly dumb for asking this, but I always assumed you went by weeks (8 weeks 2 months, 12 weeks 3 months, etc.) vs actual months (May 15th, June 15th, July 15th, etc.). But my LO recently had an appt and they commented that she was 2 months (she was 12 weeks) and I said she was three months, and the lady replied that they go by the calendar so she wouldn't be three months until the 15th (born May 15th). Which way do you count?
Re: Stupid Question - How do you count how old your baby is?
When I have children in the future, I will probably still go by weeks until the 2month mark, just to give people a more accurate answer of how old he is in the beginning!
