Private gender scan. What do you think?

We got a private scan at 16 weeks 5 days. The ultrasound tech said she was 100% sure it was a girl. But for some reason I'm still freaking myself out. His mom has bought so many girl clothes already ( first grandchild ) I'm now 21 weeks and I go in 2 days for my anotomy / growth scan, which I know they don't really focus that much on gender like they would with a private scan. I would just like some other mommies opinions for comfort!!! ☺️ thanks !

I suggest using the search function and looking up the board's responses to private sex scans.

The thing with posting ultrasounds on here is...1) lots of bumpers find it offensive to post pictures of your child's genitalia to a bunch of strangers. 2) The advice is always to take the ultrasound tech's word because the vast majority of us are not in the medical field so we don't have the knowledge to guess your child's sex. 3) Many bumpers get irritated at the word gender when instead you mean sex. If you're not a member of a birth month board, join one. They usually have a pinned post where you can post pics of your ultrasound. Congrats on your baby girl.

The ultrasound technician is trained to know these things. We are not. Why are you asking a bunch of internet strangers to make uneducated guesses on your child's genitalia?

Why would you pay for a "Gender scan" and then not believe the results? Did you research the boutique or wherever you went beforehand? It seems like it was a waste of money to me.
As for your child's genitalia and my opinion on them, I have no idea because I am an Internet stranger, not an u/s tech or doctor.
