To be added to the Weekly Checkin, please answer the following:
1. How long have you been TTC?
2. What is your diagnosis?
3. What is your current treatment plan?Question
of the Week: If you were given a $5,000 shopping spree in any one store, which store would you choose?
Re: TTTC Checkin - 08/10/2015
Things are going well on my end. I was a little nervous about how my follies were developing on this cycle with letrozole and injectibles vs letrozole only. It just seems like it slowed things down, which is not necessarily a bad thing (I always ovulated a little early). I should be getting my IUI on Wednesday or Thursday, and will likely have 3 or 4 follies by then (I have a 19, two 15, and a 14). Also, my lining is for the first time above 8mm (8.4mm)! It feels completely ridiculous to be this excited about this (you know most people wouldn't understand), but it makes me feel so much better about the hysteroscopy and how it was needed.
Hmm...$5000 shopping spree would be wonderful! Don't know that I would want to spend it all in one place- I also rarely get particularly expensive pieces. But if clothing only, I'd do Banana Republic. Otherwise, I'd probably want Costco...tons of stuff for the house, and hopefully some baby furniture.
Mom to 2 Fur Babies (Great Danes)
Last minute update: turns out I'm surging, so trigger tonight and IUI tomorrow morning! Eeek!
@jnissa Thank you! Hoping the best for your follies! Think big and plenty lol.
I'm feeling a little demoralized and I think the big feeling for me right now is feeling alone in this whole thing. DH tries but doesn't really get how much of a roller coaster each month is, and we aren't really telling anyone else so I feel stuck processing everything in my own head and overthinking everything too much. At least this group exists to let us know we're not alone!
@krbjoy that's exciting! good luck!
@k_j4ever05 and @cupcakegal930 hope this 2ww is the last for you!
I think I'd spend my $5000 on amazon, or else at ann taylor, buying a new work wardrobe.
Have a good week everybody! @GoldenKeys - I hope there's still some summer weather to enjoy!
Officially diagnosed with unexplained infertility after 4 years of TTC
IUI#2 gave us DS#1 who became an angel a few minutes after birth from Noonan syndrome
IUI#4 gave us DS#2 - going strong as a toddler!
TTC again... Found a clinical trial for unexplained infertility and finished 16 weeks of "lifestyle intervention"
Cycle #1 - cancelled for ovarian cyst x3...
1) we've been TTC for a year and a half
2) PCOS, RE is still looking for the cause. My move out of LA has seemed to greatly reduce stress and I have ovulated on my own, cycles are still 40 days and that worries my RE.
3) RE wants me on clomid, but given that I ovulated two cycles in a row I want a few cycles to see if we can conceive without intervention. I'm currently in my TWW, but not holding my breath, my husband was out of town when I got my pos OPK and had a slight temp shift, we BD the next day. It is also my first cycle getting back into temping so I missed a couple days of OPK test and one temp day. My chart says we got my fertile window but I feel like I'm missing too much data to be sure. I'm mostly just being stubborn about it because I'm still in shock this is happening on it's own. I had a really bad cyst rupture in March with intense pain for a week and bleeding...maybe that kind of reset the ovaries in a weird way.
I would buy furniture if I had a $5000 shopping spree. We recentlyish bought a house after living in a one bedroom apartment for years. We are slowly furnishing the place. And I mean sloooooooowly.
Is there anything you want to get done before having a baby? Any new hobbies you want to pick up?
Also, I'd test after the full TWW! Fx for you
1) We have been ttc for 11 months
2) I just began the testing phase. I have had blood drawn to check my egg reserve and my thyroid function as well as to look for some clotting and immune disorders. I will also have a saline infused sonogram to check for uterine defects. DH has horrible insurance through school and mine is through work so we are not testing DH at this time. My symptoms are irregular cycles and recurrent miscarriages.
3) I am current waiting for AF to return after D&C at the end of July but then I will just be charting my cycles. We are not ttc until we get some test results back.
I would probably choose Amazon for a $5000 spending spree.
