Just curious when your doctors gave you the go ahead to TTC after a delivery? I gave birth to my sleeping son at 24 weeks almost 2 weeks ago. I don't want to get pregnant to replace him, but my husband and I are ready to move forward and realize that the desire to have a healthy baby outweighs the fear that it will happen again. I didn't dilate more than a 4 and had no troubles during the birth and the cause was an accident with the umbilical cord. I want to try again but nervous for how long the doctor will say to wait!!
Re: TTC after still birth
I had a stillborn 6 years ago, also at 24 weeks. My advise to you is to wait at least 3 months. Your body needs time to regulate itself – not to mention you really need time to process everything that has happened. I would suggest giving yourself some time knowing what you have to look forward to. Your hormones are in pp mode right now. And from an emotional standpoint, you are still in emergency mode. Give yourself time to heal, hun. (((hugs))) I am so sorry for your loss.
