Pilonidal Cyst

Has anyone else ever had a pilonidal cyst while preggo? I am almost 26 weeks today.

On Wednesday I had one "removed" and was just wondering others experiences with the removal. Mine hurt pretty bad. My poor Hubby has to do 10 days, twice a day, removing of the gauze and repacking it. It is excruciating. The doctor prescribed me vicodin to take 45 minutes before Hubby does the changing of gauze. For the first 2 days I used the vicodin at the changing of gauze and tylenol the other times throughout the day. Today I decided to only use tylenol. I didn't like that I could not feel baby move as much when I took it. (Please don't turn this into a "how could you take vicodin while preggo?" My doctor and I talked at length about it. He recommended only a few day use of it.)

I was hoping that this thread might encourage me to keep my head up about it. It hurts pretty bad. I was just curious what others experiences are with these cysts and if anyone else has ever had one while preggo.

I've had one years ago. Not while pregnant. Yes it hurts, but they are common, 2 weeks and you will be back to normal, probably a little tender but it will be fine. It's just an awful spot cod it hurts while sitting standing, and doing pretty much anything, but honestly 2 weeks! You will even feel better in 1 week!
