Went in Friday morning at 7am to be induced. They hooked me up to pitocin for 8 hours, tried a VERY painful Foley balloon, and cervadil for the full twelve hours. I never moved past 2cm. They gave me the option of breaking my water or going home for a few days and trying to give him more time to come naturally. I chose to leave to avoid a c section and not force him out when he isn't ready. I'm nervous he just won't come on his own and I'll end up with a c section in a few days anyway. They won't let me go past Thursday, because he is already big and overcooked as it is. Anyone else ever gone in to be induced and ended up going home? If so, did your babies make come naturally? Super frustrated, sore, and sleep deprived. Was in labor for 24 hours with little to no sleep or food, trying to find some positives. Everybody in our families seems to think I'm nuts and this is so strange, I should have just forced him with a cesarean. Where as I want to do what's best if he isn't ready.
