Another prometrium question

Do you spot or anything on it? I just want to be prepared in case I see anything. I know it could be miscarrying too but also if that causes spotting I want to know so I am not totally freaking out.

I didn't. The higher progesterone levels make the lining in your uterus stick better. I just got way more morning sickness....oh how i long for morning sickness again!

LOL. Ok good to know. I am supposed to take 200mg twice a day. I know most said they take it at night. Did you take both at night? Or should I actually do it twice.

you shouldn't spot on prometrium. it maintains the lining. it's actually the drop in progesterone that causes withdrawll bleed. that's why they usually give progesterone to induce AF. you can take 400mg at one shot but i would follow you md's directions and take 200mg twice daily (every 12 hours).

Beaner - I'm so sorry for the spotting and the worry.  It stinks.  Hopefully the prometrium is the answer and everything works out.

As for spotting.  It won't be "real" spotting b/c it will likely be irritation of your cervix by the prometrium supps.  I was warned that it may happen by my OB.  But you shouldn't spot where it counts.

 As for symptoms, my supps (oral though) made me very tired and slightly dizzy.  Nothing else.  But they can give you all the first-tri like feelings.
