This was last week ... surly I'm not just 12 weeks.... lol feels like a whale...
You tend to pop a little sooner with subsequent pregnancies and since you already know what it feels like you can feel it a little sooner than the 1st time too.

If science is based on limited data I wonder what those 40+ extra pages in appendix were for my thesis that took me years of work to collect-
Based on the abuse my 32w pregnant friend is getting from her ninja I am happy to wait... I already pee every 2 hours I don't need anyone practicing kickboxing on my bladder thank you
I'm sure you have noticed that the world is populated by millions. Science can't test every single human on earth, Love. Be realistic. Science does the best it can with the subjects it can get to run tests/study. Yes. 40+ pages is a lot but it is only a fraction of data compared to the billions of humans experiencing life on earth.. We can only speak from a general perspective not individual. Does that make sense?
The world is actually populated by billions. The point is, the majority of people on this site aren't feeling their baby at 10 weeks. Realistically that isn't possible at all but let's say some people could. That would be an incredibly small fraction of people and by far and away not the norm. So when someone says, "I THINK I felt my baby, I'm 10 weeks," there are people who are going to listen to reason and try to spread facts by saying, "it's too early to feel that, it's probably everything stretching and moving." Because logically, that's what it would be. What is the point of saying, "everything points to no but I bet you're 100% right!" That doesn't make sense. With my first I asked my OB that early if what I was feeling COULD be the baby. She chuckled and said, "No. Some people may tell you that you can but those people are just trying to make you feel better. I have nothing against doulas but unfortunately they seem to tell people any little twinge you ever feel is your baby. That just isn't true." And then when you spread information that people can definitely feel the baby this early you have other people who might worry about NOT being able to feel their baby yet because they have been ill informed. Does that make sense?
I would think that most women/soon to be mothers would want to know accurate information, even if that means they feel bad about likely not feeling their baby at 10 weeks. When I was a FTM I didn't want people to coddle me and perpetuate the "don't ever tell anyone they're wrong because it could hurt their feelings" mentality. I wanted to know realistic information. And as a parent, don't you want to teach your kids the best information available too?
Again, if it makes you feel that much better to believe it's your baby, go for it. It probably isn't true and that's all people are trying to say. You'll probably know when it's really your baby versus your uterus stretching and moving, it's different. I don't care if people choose to believe that they are different and special but I don't understand ignoring reality and getting upset with other people for being realistic.
And as far as coming here for support, being honest is supportive. Lying and perpetuaing things that aren't true are not. You're not going to like the way everyone answers or get along with everyone, etc, etc, etc. But there are always going to be people who choose not to just go along with everything and say, "yep, you're right!" to everything. That's not being unsupportive, it's giving realistic information which is far more valuable than coddling unrealistic ideas.
Just my two cents on that. I would rather have the truth, even if it somehow hurt my feelings.
No your not crazy,I felt movement and I'm only 9 weeks, everyone's Body is different this is my 3rd pregnancy so I definitely can tell the difference between my gas, nerves and my little seed moving...Enjoy the feelings
I finally felt Lil Squishy bumping me last night and this morning. All of my other pregnancies I felt the baby's move at the 12-13 week. Sure enough I am 12weeks 4days. It is a distinct feeling, at least for me it is. Now that it's later in the day and I have been going nonstop I haven't felt much since this morning. Feeling the flutter is so reassuring, especially with the decline in symptoms. *For the scientist on here: My experience is not the average but I am within the time-frame of when people begin to feel movement *
I feel things all the time but I am almost positive it is at times my uterus stretching or gas. Even the flutters I felt it when I wasn't pregnant after my last son and it was the weirdest.

I've posted this on two threads now. Since we are copy pasting things about other groups.
Oh I forgot that because my womb was barren I was supposed to stay tucked away and out of sight so as not to upset anyone. Let alone have opinions or knowledge to share. I'll just go back to my barren hole and will come back when I'm more fruitful.

I felt phantom kicks to and I would always be like awh I want another one. and now I feel stuff (gas stretching... who knows what ) and I get all excited cause I know I will feel the strong kicks soon!
Someone's been doing her homework you are absolutely right on. Thanks!
We're not trolls. How about YOU do your own homework before blindly following the only person that seems to be purposefully stirring the pot (aka troll).
Just because people don't agree with others or try to educate them, it doesn't mean they're a troll. However, calling out a bunch of TTGP women and calling them sad trolls is, however, troll behavior.
Honestly, my apologies. I was there once and how quickly you forget. Good luck. I hope you are able to join a BMB very soon.

I feel it a lot of times after having some sugar. I think it's baby since I'm 13 weeks and it's not my first baby. Just saying! And let me say there is also a diff in feeling kicks vs movement for the novices out there.
its funny how when someone asks if you think they may be pregnant (which I agree is annoying) they get attacked with how "internet strangers cant tell you about your body" & "we cant see into your ute" Unless of course you claim to feel something baby related. Then they know EXACTLY what's happening within your body.
Relax ladies why are you so personally offended when someone says they feel their baby?
It kind of confirms it for me that I can't feel anything personally. I had an ultrasound in the ER (baby was okay, thank God) and I saw our little one flipping, kicking, full body wiggling, and... I couldn't feel a THING.
I know the baby is moving, but under all the fluid and muscle and given how little and weak baby is still... well, nope, couldn't tell at all.

Actually, very different things.
People get shit for posting "am I pregnant" threads because that's a dumb thing to ask the Internet to answer for you. People literally make an account on TB, they wait the three days before they're allowed to post a question, they search for a certain board (usually TTGP) and then ask strangers if they think they're pregnant. When buying a $0.88 test at Walmart could give them their answer in a fraction of the time.

Just curious are you due in March? Did you think you would have something similar going on with the OP or some advice to give when you clicked on this thread?

A lot of people gave advice on this thread, such as, "it's probably too soon to feel your baby." But you are upset that people said that so what exactly are you looking for? Giving advice based on reality and scientific facts is still giving advice, whether you like it or not. Anyone can post anywhere they like, you don't get to decide if the advice is worthy or not.

Hormones are a wonderful thing lol xxxxx not very common I was told to feel baby this early but pregnant with my second and I have had it confirmed ... for the majority the feeling is most likely gas.... I've been thinking i could feel him since I was about 8 weeks but felt baba the other night for real and as I said was confirmed by scan u know when it's real don't try and force it or believe every little bubble xxx
I am 11w2d and over the weekend I felt like I could feel baby. I was laying in bed and twice I felt my uterus move. It was kind of like when you feel your pulse in your hand or something, just a little *boom boom* beat. It's hard to explain! My completely unscientific theory is that if baby is already moving, who is to say we can't feel them?
Obviously, I know it could totally be nothing but it makes me smile to think about feeling my little one acting up!
Those of you who are due in early March and are not in your first pregnancy may be feeling movement, but science definitely says that most of you probably aren't.
