I didn't realize this was a confession until recently, but I'll be posting photos of myself breastfeeding on my Facebook. If you want to objectify my body then unfriend me!

I'm breastfeeding right now too. People are so rude. They say "you're still breastfeeding? Isn't that bad for the baby you're carrying?" Excuse me but women have been breastfeeding while pregnant since the beginning of our species. You really think people waited 6 yrs between babies?

Anyway, good for you for posting BF photos. We had a photographer take some beautiful ones of my daughter and I. It's such a special bond and it shouldn't have to be hidden.

For the amount of people we have on this board, it is incredibly slow and not much participation occurs.

I'm voluntarily going into work today (I'm a teacher so I don't actually go back yet). Sure, I have things there to do, but more than that I'm excited for a little time away from the kids.

I pretended to be asleep until my husband left with the husky to drop him off at boarding so I didn't have to help get anything ready. And now I'm laying in bed playing on my phone instead of doing the hundred things I need to do so we can leave for the weekend.

If you participate too much when they ask for your option.... people get grumpy. Best to stay clear for the most part. Also I think people are more cautious of what they share (at least the regs and people who have been around TB for years) because of the catfish and crazies

I confess that I don't read the pinned posts. If any thread that I was following at one point gets to more than 10 unread replies, I don't touch it anymore. The "Everyone introduce yourself!" thread has exactly 564 unread replies right now. Good gravy. No thanks.

@Twindling I totally agree. I think there's too many of us to really get to know each other enough to create personal and interesting threads.

@geojam224 if it's a regular post like uo and it gets high I still read it but I haven't touched the other pinned posts. Mostly because there aren't even that many regs here so you know it's literally all drive bys who stopped to aw themselves and never come back

@geojam224 I am in the same boat with you, I haven't read a single thing on the pinned posts since I jumped on this board.... apparently I have 632 new ultrasound pictures to look at. Nope, not gonna happen. 

@wisco29 hopefully people will start to drop off soon and we will get to a place where there are like 40-50 of us that can really get to know each other. 

I am going to lose my mind if one more person asks who's showing, or has anyone felt the baby move, or who still feels like crap.... The lack of understanding for how these boards work infuriates me sometimes. I know my hormones are probably just going crazy, but I seriously don't have the patience for it anymore!

I do the same with January! Much more entertaining. Although, everyone actually participating is getting banned, so they'll be right back where we are soon.

FFC - I wish people would stop being so easily offended and stop reporting people for no reason. I just saw this morning that @dylanscandybar got banned. She was never rude that I saw, just straightforward. I've reported a couple of posts, but they were truly against TOU - selling stuff and name calling.

Ha! I tried that just this week bc my sister and her boyfriend were visiting, and my DH called me out on it. I feel like sorting, laundering, and folding laundry is enough work, someone else should have to put it away lol. So I just tossed it on shelves in the closet and no one knows but us and no one cares but him! :-bd

How I feel but it just never works lol!!

my ffc is that I don't think that god belongs in any political debate. I lean right fiscally but the social stuff kills it for me with them. It seriously makes me want to throw up when I hear their southern drawls talking about scripture. Save that for sunday- it doesn't belong in a debate or in politics in general... 

I kind of like Chris Christie because he leans right fiscally but more left socially but I kind of really hope Trump is on the ballot because it'd be really friggen entertaining. Either that, or he runs independently and screws it over for the rest of the republican party.

Post and runs are annoying and so are comment and runs. Those comments that lack interaction, not sure what to call them. I have gotten to the point where I often just read the first sentence of a comment and stop if I get the impression it's just a comment and run.

I agree this board is BORING because people don't feel like they can discuss freely without someone getting offended and reporting them.

I don't understand posts and runs or drive bys anymore either. You seriously have to wait like 3 days to post. If you are just doing it because you are excited and have to be an aw, wouldn't the wait stop you from coming back?

I don't know where I read it but someone mentioned if you come over from the knot you don't have to wait. Not sure if that is true.

I used to be super independent but 3 years ago when H went back to school I put him in charge of paying all bills/budgeting etc so he would take some ownership of my income that was supporting us. Well he finished school and now Iif anything happened to him I would be financially lost. I have no idea where to mail the rent check or when the cable bill is due. Nothing.

Yeah, my husband cleaned the house yesterday on his day off and I came home to lovely piles of stuff I had to actually put away

@inomniaparatus There have been polls and studies that show the majority of US voters are more comfortable with the idea of electing a Christian over and above all hence it is very important to let your voters know that you are indeed a Christian. I don't agree with it though by any means.

@Bfavors same here! I'm a monster at work; I'm always super organized. I've definitely flipped out about staplers being in the wrong place, etc. At home I'm just ehhh...the clutter doesn't bother me for some reason.

I'm not saying this because I disagree with anything you said in particular, but WHY why why bring up politics on a board of Internet strangers? Last week you offended people with your discussion of religion. With this many people, I can pretty much guarantee we will have people who feel very strongly on both ends of the political spectrum. I just think religion and politics are topics best left out of this forum.

I guess my confession is that I have no interest in engaging in political debates on TB.

But my real confession is that I'm crabby today for no apparent reason. Probably going to get myself some chocolate because I deserve it, right?

Totally. I just wish it weren't the case. It's totally fine to be religious but I just wish there was true separation of church and state--- a pipe dream.

you may want to check out the Libertarian Party; fiscally very conservative, socially very liberal.  The direction that I hoped the republican party to go, but probably won't happen in my lifetime.

I cloth diaper DS but thanks to this first trimester I'm super behind on laundry so I bought disposable diapers. I Just don't want to have extra laundry. I knew I paid way too much ($18 for 27 diapers excuse me?!) and then I used that to justify buying a $40 cloth diaper for the baby.

Agree...politics on TB is equivalent to someone posting they are disappointed in the sex of their LO.  Too many opinions to deal w/ IMO.

I would love to debate it but it is not worth my BP being elevated! lol

We have a wedding to go to tomorrow, and my confession is that I'm more excited for my dresses from Rent the Runway to come today than for the wedding itself.
