Reflux

My son has been on axid since he was 2 weeks old. He is 3 months old now. Last week his ped ordered an upper gi barium swallow test which showed he does in fact have reflux, but also pyloric spasms. From what I understand, the spasms are causing his stomach to empty at a slower pace,causing him to reflux. His medicine was switched to prevacid. We are on day 2,and I don't see a change. Does anyone have experience with pyloric spasms and when they typically go away? And also prevacid? Just wondering how long it typically takes to see results. Tia!

    Our daughter is on Prevacid for reflux. Took a few days to see a difference. I was originally prescribed to give it her once a day in the morning but then she had more pain at night. After consulting the doctor, we halved the original dose and have it to her twice a day instead and that is working better. We just had to up the dose after a few weeks due to her weight increase.
