4 month check up

My LO just had her 4 month check up and shots today. Everything was good except her blood work. I was told she is at high risk to get infections very easily and something about her blood clotting. Has anybody else been told this? She has to go back to the doctor in 3 days to get more tests done. I'm worrying myself to death now

    No, my LO has never even had blood work outside of her newborn labs done. But that does sound scary. Hoping for good news for you and that the rest of the tests come out normal!

    I hope it works out ok. I guess I would like to be prepared especially before cold/flu season.

    She was retested today and her white blood cell count is back down but there's a lot of other things that are too high. Being rechecked in a month and if it's not normal ten she has to go to a specialist and she used the word I never wanted to hear an oncologist

    Will keep you in my thoughts (and prayers, if that's ok, too). It is so hard to have to wait for results and answers. Hoping you are able to not worry too much between now and the next check. And that even if a hem-onc is necessary, that it is something that can be easily taken care of.
