TTC after 35

I think I'm losing it...

So I'm reading stories on twoweekwait.com and I come to this story where she mentions having "lightening crotch". Omg, I start laughing uncontrollably. I mean I am typing this through tears I am still laughing so hard. I think I have officially lost it. LOL

Re: I think I'm losing it...

  • I've heard of lightening crotch -- I thought that was when the baby kicked you in the cervix.  What would cause it in the TWW?

RE says the low egg count is likely causing my recurrent pregnancy loss. Less eggs results in more aneuploidy.

  • It's real and it's awful! With DS I would be walking and out of nowhere would feel like an electric shock straight up the hoo-ha! Hence the term lighting crotch, the perfect description.
  • I agree with @Goldsgirl9.  It's NOT fun.  I've never heard of it in the TWW though.  Learned something new...

  • Don't get me wrong, I wasn't laughing at the actual symptom. I was laughing at the name it's given. I didn't mean to offend anyone. I was basically pointing out how I think I'm losing it because I was laughing so uncontrollably.
