Choosing a name..?

I need opinions on which name is better. I am looking for a strong name that my son can live up to. What do you think...?

Christopher (Chris) Amir
Or
David Amir

I'd lean more towards Christopher. He can have the NN of Chris or Topher. 
David's NN would be Dave or "Davey"

I think they are both really strong names. I just like the way David Amir flows a little better, but in my opinion they are both good options.

I like Christopher. But I cannot stand the nickname "Davey!" nothing personal, just for some reason I have never liked it. Well, I actually think it's because I had this BSC patient who called her son Davey and spoke of him like he was God's gift to the world but he was the biggest brat and super weird. So ignore my opinion on that one, I'm biased lol.

I'm pro David but that's because my SO's name is David. He doesn't get called Davey (thank godddd) but his friends from school still call him Davis. I think it came from a drunken night and someone accidentally called him that. I and his family don't though. So I rarely hear it.
