Really bad period pain.

Im not really sure where to post this but I needed to know...

I had my second baby 6 months ago and today I got really bad cramps and terrible back pain right where I had the epidural. Now sometimes I get a little pain there, whenever my back starts to hurt but I guess being mixed with bad cramps makes it worse because it was unbearable. I spent like two hours crying it hurt so bad and nothing would relieve the pain. I tried warm bath, shower, laying down, walking around, curled up, etc. Ive always had really bad period cramps since Ive had a period (I used to take medicine for it) but this was on a whole other level. It felt like going into labor, it hurt so bad. In the same spots. Its finally dwindled to just uncomfortable cramps now but if it happens again I dont know what I will do. I havent even started the actual period part yet. Sorry if anyone finds this a little too involved but I was just wondering if anyone else went through these kind of cramps and what to do because I was getting close to going to the hospital to see if they could help with the pain. Anything at all would be helpful. Thanks.
