Help with baby girl name

Ok, so we have decided our baby boys name, but we can't decide on a girl! We don't know what we are having yet. We tried once, and will try again tomorrow, but baby was very stubborn!! Here are my top favorite names

I voted Violet. I like Georgia a lot too, but wouldn't use it if I lived in GA. I wouldn't use Eleanor or Madeline. Just sick of all of the Ellies and Maddies. They're everywhere! Violet and Amelia are lovely.

I voted Violet, probably because I love it but can't use it with my last name. But I also really like Amelia and Georgia.

Thanks ladies! I am not a fan of Maddie, I agree there are too many! I like Madeline, but it will probably be too hard not to NN it!

I should add that we are not from Georgia (we are Canadians living here) and we will be moving back home in 2 years. I, however, still think it might be a little weird.

We don't know what we are having either and I just love the name Amelia. I think Amelia Skye is such a pretty name ☺️

Hubby and I talked through this one outloud on the way to our mfm appt! ) we scrapped Madeline and Eleanor first. We both agreed on Georgia but you live there.. So he suggested naming her Violet or Amelia. He loves the legacy of Amelia Earhart and if our other girls didn't end in ia this baby would've been Amelia.

I voted for Amelia. It is a nice list and there are several that I would have on a list if they weren't as popular as they are. But I wouldn't use Georgia if I lived in GA.

All great names, and I would have chosen Eleanor, but I am sick of all the Ellies. Nora would be a great alternate NN. I voted Amelia.

I live in Nova Scotia and I know someone who named her daughter Nova and i barely think of it. but I guess I can see the hesitation... Georgia is still my fav out of your options though!

I'm partial to Georgia, but mainly because it's my DD's name and I think it's great.  That said, we don't live in GA (although we did years ago) - and I probably wouldn't have used it if we were still there.

I agree with others on the Amelia vote.  It's pretty and unique enough without being odd.  I'm so tired of the Elle's and Maddy's.  And Violet just doesn't do it for me.

I voted Eleanor. Gorgeous name and have one myself. We do end up calling her Ellie sometimes but doesn't bother me. Not her given name and its so cute despite being a popular nickname

I like Violet the most. I agree that I wouldn't use Georgia since you live in Georgia
