I was wondering if taking my 10 week old baby to a Gymboree class is a waste. Or should I wait a little longer??? The class say 0-10 months. Did any moms take your baby early. I'd love to go but not sure.
We've Been going since week 8. LO loves it, smiles and definitely is aware of the tactile and auditory stimulation. Mostly it's good for me to get out but he is always happy during it!
We started going to Baby Bounce at the library today (DS is 11 weeks). He looked very puzzled but interested and it must have exhausted him because he fell asleep two minutes after it ended! I think whenever you go, baby will be interested and curious!
I've been taking my son for the past two week and he is 11 weeks and we both love it. He looks all around, giggles, smiles and coos at his friends..has a great time with tummy time. We sing songs, give massages, Play with puppets, dance,we get mommy time to talk about problems we have and give each other support. We are the youngest.. Most are 3.5-5 months but we find it very useful and something to do during the day.
Signing my daughter up at the little gym(she's 2) they said i could sign my son up too (13 weeks) but i started my daughter at the kids music round at 7 months and she did great!! 3-4 months is just a waste of money in my opinion
Our baby is 10 weeks and she loves going to gymboree class. She enjoys watching the other babies mostly, but she enjoys the songs too. She's been alert during class.
Can I ask how any of you have found these classes? We just moved to MS with our 11 week old DD and desperately looking for things to get involved with and if these have worked for others I would love to find some here!

Go on the website they'll show the closest Gymboree. Also there a link here that says things to do in your area with baby
I wouldn't spend money on a baby that small. In fact, I never had to do anything like that with all the events at our local libraries.
I started infant story time that was songs, finger play and board books around 12 weeks. There are 4 libraries within 10 minutes of me that have music and play based story times and events for infants. I'd look into that first.
None of our public libraries have programs for babies so young. They start at 6 months or 10 months of age. Gymboree is pretty affordable around here and regardless- the smiles on my little boys face makes it worth every cent.
