Prayer Requests: Week Ending 8/7/15

Thank you to all of the ladies who covered our board in prayer, and prayed specifically for last week's requests. Thank you also to those who made requests for letting us pray along with you on this journey. I have great anticipation of how God will use our prayers :). FYI, in addition to new requests, we would love to hear updates/praise reports on last week's requests. It is encouraging for everyone :).

I am posting the next week of PRs since I will be on vacation tomorrow (FYI, tagging doesn't seem to be working from my PC unless I cut and paste from the previous discussion .. weird):

lyssaroony How is your husband feeling?
@efhoping2010 We are excited to hear an update on the transfer :):):):)

Re: Prayer Requests: Week Ending 8/7/15

  • Thank you! I'll report DH's latest sperm count was 18 million. We will freeze some samples hopefully in two weeks when we get back from vacation. I'm debating getting ovulation predictors to see about some natural BD in florida

  • Thanks everyone for praying last week.

    Updates/requests:

    - My concussion is 100% healed! Answered prayer!!! Thank you all and Thank You Jesus! :)

    - Thank you all for praying for the peri menopause testing. i still don't have the results, and waiting to take CD3 tests. Please keep praying for a good report

Please continue to pray that my husband will not waver in a decision to try for #2 (he is still on the fence but not preventing any longer and supportive of fertility eval). We missed the fertility window in part because of wavering, and in part because he wasn't feeling well .. so prayers for health would be great too! :)

Thank you all for your prayers!

  • @hispromisistrue so glad that your concussion is healed! That is proof in the power of prayer!

Thank you all so much for praying this week, stims are going really well and this morning a couple of new follies popped up! I have about 4 more than last cycle, they are growing strong and we will be going for the retrieval on Monday so continued prayers would be wonderful.

Think of you all and keeping you in my prayers!

  • Thanks for doing this, @HisPromisIsTrue ! I'm glad your concussion is healed and will be praying for your testing results.

DH and I had a great talk last night--better than we have had in a long time--and we both decided that we want this journey to draw us nearer to God and to each other and set up some ideas for how to help that happen. So, I am encouraged. That was a definite answer to prayer. Lots of appointments this week and then my parents arrive next week. I'm hoping having them here, and having DH on vacation will bring us some good rest and relaxation. And maybe, just maybe, that'll set us up for a successful try this month. ;)

Requests remain much the same--faith that God's timing and plan is even better than mine. ;)

Thanks to all! I look forward to reading updates and new requests.

Hi all! I really appreciate all the prayers!
@HisPromisIsTrue, so glad your concussion is healed. Thank God!

@AMDR1979, that's great news about the sperm count!

@Cupcakegal930, yay for the follies! I'm a lite clueless about some of the lingo/terms but also great news about stims! (Even though I have no clue what that means. LOL)

@Sporty1216, such great news about you and hubby! I hope your visit with your parents goes well!

Hubby is slowly getting better. He ended up having an upper respiratory infection. He finally went to the doctor and got antibiotics. He's leaving again today for Canada and will be gone for the weekend. Keep praying that he will get better and not worse. I really feel like he got sick because he has been traveling so much and working really long hours. So if you guys could pray that his job would let up on the traveling and the long hours that would be great!
I will continue praying for everyone else's request. I also have a new request. I can't really say exactly what it's about, just that it is a financial issue that needs to be worked out in the next few days.
I can't wait to hear other praise reports!
  • Thank you all for your prayers.

@HisPromisIsTrue so glad to hear you were healed. People truly underestimate the power of prayer.

I am feeling much better this week. It's so easy to get discouraged but for the first time in a very long time I fell confident in myself and my body so thank you to all who prayed and please continue to keep me in your prayers if you don't mind.

I am happy to read some of the other praise reports. The prayer posts make me so happy because in the world we live in where God is being removed at every turn it's refreshing to find other believers.

I don't know if this is the right place to post this, but my bloodwork came back with slightly elevated FSH. The nurse couldn't really tell me what that meant other than "diminishing ovarian resources" or something like that. Well, being 40 already told me that my ovaries aren't spring chickens! I didn't need a blood test for that. I have regular cycles, so I am trying to trust my body and not freak out over what seem to be ambiguous bloodwork results. Please pray that if there is something we should be doing in light of this, that we will get that guidance. And also that I just wouldn't freak, but keep my eyes on Him. Thanks for letting me vent/request here.
  • Praying for all of you! Hope everyone is doing well!
  • I have a special prayer request.  I found out today that one of my hubby's co-workers was in a tragic accident.  He was out boating and dove into the water, hitting the bottom and damaging his spinal cord.  They were able to stabilize his spine, but he has little or no feeling in his arms and legs.  As if that isn't tragic enough, his wife had their first child, a little girl, three weeks ago.  I just can't stop thinking about them and how scared this new mother must be.  Please pray for his recovery and for strength for both of them as they go through this. I know him only a bit (he came to the baby shower my hubby's coworkers had for us), but I want to do something for them, so I figured praying was a good start.
