Has anyone gotten their period back yet? My little girl just turned 12 weeks on Monday and it started yesterday. I am not breastfeeding and the flow is awful! I am having to change my pad every hour or so. How long should I expect this to last for? I just started taking my birth control pill again so I'm hoping that helps. I can't use tampons with the pads because I have granulation tissue build up in two places and it's too painful to even try. I have to wait until the middle of August to get that removed.

I got mine back 7 weeks postpartum . I m not breastfeeding either . I've been on it since the 18 of July , it started off light then got heavy . Made me feel horrible light headed ,dizzy, nausea, low appetite . I went to the doctor and they gave me provera to stop it . Been 2 days hoping it stops soon ! I was taking the mini pill which I stopped because I wasn't sure if it was contributing to bleeding for so long . Maybe call the doctor changing it every hour seems like a lot . As for not being able to use tampons ... If your bleeding a lot they don't seem to have enough coverage anyway .
