I go back today for my third blood draw to check my hcg levels. They were 12 on Saturday, and 22 on Monday. That's an 83% rise in about 54 hours, but my OB's office still seems really concerned and want to see the numbers from today 'stat'. I was only 8DPO on Saturday and then 10DPO on Monday when the levels were taken, so I'm praying it was just SUPER early, hence the low numbers. (I temped and charted, so I know my exact O day)

I'm freaking out though. I shut down yesterday, crying my eyes out and didn't even want to look at my husband because I just felt so anxious and alone. After our terrible MC in May, I thought this was my chance at redemption. To top it off, my employer was a complete DICK about me asking to leave a little early today to go get this blood work done. I'm 'salary', but he acts like we are not, and so I had to come into work today at 4:30am in order to leave early. The earlier I get the bloodwork done, the earlier I'll have answers, since the lab is 'stat', i'll get the results back within two hours. 

I'm rambling. I'm sorry. I've just never been so nervous before...

I don't know much about blood hcg levels - I've never had them done myself, but I know it's a good thing that they are going up. Plus, it's pretty early and 83% seems really close to double.

Thanks, ladies, I honestly appreciate it so very much. I'm sitting here, just staring at the clock and waiting for the time I can run out of here and to the hospital for the labwork. 

I don't feel like i'll be able to actually 'feel' pregnant until after these results come back, if that makes any sense. Having a gut feeling that this is just going to go terribly wrong, yet again, makes me cautious.... UGH!

Update: I am having a second miscarriage. Numbers dropped a bit and the nurse called to confirm. I don't know what to say, other than I hope you all have a VERY healthy and happy nine months. In the future, I hope to join another month board with better results.

Oh no I'm so very sorry to hear that! Sending you lots of thoughts and prayers. I am sorry that you have to go through this, it is such a hard time and so unfair.

I'm sorry for your loss and know exactly what you are going through. But I'm going to tell you a story my Dr. Told me. He was doing his residency when he met an old lady she was 89 I believe he asked her how many times she had been pregnant and she said 16. He told her wow that's a lot of babies. She told him I only have 8 children. I miscarried 8 times before I delivered 8 beautiful babies. It may not give you hope but it gave me hope I miscarried 3 times with one of the times being last month in June here I am pregnant again. I also had an ectopic pregnancy that ruptured leaving me with one fallopian tube. Trust me when I say I know pain I know the feelings of loss. But know that your time will come. I'm scared that every time I go to the bathroom I'm going to start spotting but I realized that I cannot control everything but I can still have hope that things are going to be alright.
