test line darker than control?

So I took another test today at 16 dpo After getting my bfp at 11 dpo and my test line was so much darker than the control! Has anyone else had this happen to them?

    It's due to the rising levels of hcg in your system. The higher the levels, the darker the line, essentially. Hence why the line is faint at the beginning and gets clearer the farther along that you wait.

    Yup. My test line was crazy dark and appeared even before the control did! I thought I had the test upside down!

    Mine also was much darker than control and appeared almost right away before the control. Like others said, it's due to higher hcg levels.

    Mine appeared in less than a second and was also very dark. I wasn't even a week late. I'm hoping it means twins... I know that's crazy, but I've always wanted twins and first. It won't happen, but it would be wonderful!
