I was prescribed this last week and it seemed to help take the edge off the nausea at first, but now I can't really notice any difference. I still feel sick for most of the day. I'm still taking it for now, but I'm not taking the max dosage anymore (2 at night, 1 morning, 1 daytime) since it doesn't really help. I'm down to just 2 at night, and one in the morning if I remember.

As a pharmacist, I can tell you Diclegis is the ONLY FDA pregnancy category A approved drug for morning sickness. It contains doxylamine which is the same antihistamine found in OTC Unisom. The other ingredient is pyridoxine which is B6. Diclegis only comes in brand name so it can be expensive.
It did not help me very much , I am managing in other non rx ways because of what @CalebsHabibi said, diclegis is the only prescription nausea medicine with a clean rep

The unisom/b6 combo did not work for me (this time or in the past) so if Diclegis is in fact the same thing then no for me. I don't have my first appointment for 2 weeks so I'm not sure if the dr will want me to try it or not.
It's helping me so far I've been taking it for about a week. I take two at night and one in the morning. It does make me kind of drowsy though but I would take that over the all day nausea! Try it...it can't hurt and if it doesn't help you haven't lost anything! Also go to the drug website online and print the coupon. I got my RX for $30 instead of $300
Its been a life saver for me! It knocks the nausea right out. Most days I can just take the nighttime dose and don't need any during the day. By the evening I'm feeling pretty :-& but power through dinner. The few times I've taken it during the day I feel much better within 30 or so minutes. It does add to my fatigue during the day, but its worth it to not feel like I want to vomit all day.
It's been working for me so far. I still feel a little nauseous on the days I work (3 days a week ) but that's also because I work at a nursing home and the smells there can be pretty bad at times! !) I'm taking 3-4 pills per day.
I am taking Zofran right now, but may soon be trying Diclegis or a combination of both. I had hyperemesis with DD and it's seeming like I'm heading down that road with the pregnancy too. I don't know that the diclegis will make much of a difference since I'm already taking Unisom & B6 and it doesn't seem to be doing much, but it's worth a shot.
