My house isn't even ready ( I want to get his room ready so bad, one wall is painted but the house itself isn't even done. They are laying the tile and still have to put in kitchen cabinets and toilet. It should be done here in a few weeks, then its all hands on deck trying to unpack everything. I just pray I get mostly everything in its place by the time he comes.
I feel your pain. We completed gutted and updated our house last summer. Can't imagine doing it while 7 months pregnant BUT we did it all in three weeks because we had to so even when everything looks really far from finished, it can come together quicker than you think! Hang in there!
We were living with the inlaws until July. Once we finally closed we had to replace all the floors in the house, paint, replace the entire HVAC system, gut a bathroom, take down walls, etc. It has been ongoing! Aiming to have our bedroom done before baby, and it would be nice to have the garage empty so I can park in there, but that may be asking too much haha! Good luck, it will all work out for you!!

Ahhh so stressful I know! People said to me, "moving is so stressful!", and I was like, it's not the moving, that's a piece of cake compared to completely roping out a house to the studs and starting from scratch (on a budget and in three weeks).
But good news is once the baby comes you will have your hands full and the house will be everyone else's problem!
We are living in my old Room at my parents and I am ready to be in my house. My nieces and sister-in-law live there so it's crazy!! We gutted the house also, it was built 55 yrs ago so it was time for an update. We might be able to move in by the end of next week.. I pray!! I got his crib delivered yesterday, so I see a light at the end in this long tunnel.

Our gender neutral nursery! Just wish I could paint the framework white... However we are renting till we buy a house in the spring and couldn't make that change!
Almost done! I have stars for the crib mobile that need hanging, a few more throw pillows for the reading/play nook, and initial (first letter) art to go -- but that last one won't happen until after she's here and we finalize the name. Oh yeah, and I have to part with the diaper cake
We went with a Solar System theme so we could have Star Wars, Doctor Who, Star Trek etc stuff in it. It's not quite how I wanted the room to turn out but we are slowly adding little things here and there. The quote on the wall says: I'm a leaf on the wind, watch how I soar.
This is what we have so far, still working on wall decor. Also the Jack Daniels sign is coming down... My husband is having a hard time parting with it
My nursery isn't quite done but I am so excited to show off the custom made bedding we received as a gift! I am not into pinks and couldn't find anything from stores that I liked! My best friends mom is great at sewing and made us an amazing bed skirt and little comforter in the colors I love! I'm in love with it!
This is what we have so far Just need decorations above the chair. I am thinking tissue paper Pom Pom. We also have a pink bed skirt, but I don't have a great picture of that on my phone.
Here is Baby L's nursery! The photos on the wall are Beatrix Potter prints. Changing pad will go on top of dresser and shelf will be decorated. I also have a large gold curly monogram hanging above the crib. It is so cozy!
Not quite finished, but getting there! Themed colors are Gray and Yellow with accents of teal. Our LO is Due October 17th! Still need bedding, curtains, and accent rug. #QuinnDaniel

I love those colors!! And the patterns in the blanket are adorable!
@kassyfry thank you!!! my husband hunts everything, (I usually just do deer season) and we thought since we were having a boy duck hunting! I didn't want it to look like realtree Max4 threw up in the nursery but little things here and there. The bedding has camo with the tan minky break and we had it custom made and had the lady sew on a black lab on the bumpers and blanket (my favorite part of the crib!) then just tan walls and burgundy color for the "M" initial. And we took our black lab out to a lake near our house and took some snap shots of him with some decoys in the background and the calls at the bottom wanted a one of a kind nursery for a very special little boy
