Trying to Get Pregnant

TWW Monday

Re: TWW Monday

  • Month/Cycle: 2/2

CD/DPO: 33/15 (by crosshairs) 31/13 (if you go by the actual temp spike on my chart)

    Timing: Either -2 and 0  or -4, -2, -1, 0, +1

Testing Plans: Friday or Saturday is AF is a no show.  I've had cycles up to CD 36 in the past, and I've decided I'd prefer the anxiety of not knowing over the letdown of a BFN.

Symptoms/Rants/Raves/Chart Stalk: The TWW is crawling. But, I'm refusing to POAS. I've felt like AF could show up for days now, still just watching and waiting.

GTKY: What's something you're looking forward to this week? Meh. I've got a rough week ahead with a lot going on at work and no weekend off and I've struggled to be optimistic this cycle. DH is headed out of town this weekend, so I might wait until he's gone to test so that I can 1) get over a BFN funk by the time he's back or 2) surprise him when he gets home.

  • Congratulations @imrachellea!

    Month/Cycle: 1/1

    CD/DPO: 25/7

    Timing: -5, -2, 0

    Testing Plans: Friday

Symptoms/Rants/Raves/Chart Stalk: exhausted and down emotionally but that may not have anything to do with TTC.

GTKY: What's something you're looking forward to this week? Getting paid on Friday.
  • Month/Cycle: 4

    CD/DPO: 35/17ish?

    Timing: -4,-3,-2,2 maybe??

Testing Plans: BFN this morning for like the 5th time this cycle. Have never wanted AF to come before, but would be just fine if she did. Obviously not our month unless I o'd way late, but in that case our timing still wasn't very good.

Symptoms/Rants/Raves/Chart Stalk: I'm really wearing out my welcome in the TWW, and not that I don't love you ladies, but I'd sure like to move on to somewhere else!!
Still no symptoms of pregnancy or AF whatsoever. Gotta start temping so I'll have a clue next time of what's going on!

I am looking forward to vacation shopping/maybe a little packing this week! Counting down to the Dominican Republic- 17 days! (Although REALLY hoping AF gets out of the way before that trip!!)

Yay congrats @imrachellea FX for tomorrow!! I'll be looking for you here tomorrow! Jk I just saw you tested again! Huge congrats!!

    Month/Cycle: 2/2

    CD/DPO: 15/1

    Timing: -6, -2, -1, O, +1

Testing Plans: Ehh. The disappointment is no fun for me then I always feel silly when my AF shows and I wasted all those tests. So, l am going to really TRY to wait until AF doesn't show. Emphasis on the "try" :)

Symptoms/Rants/Raves/Chart Stalk: Feeling pretty good! Except ugh Monday's..... ;)

GTKY: What's something you're looking forward to this week? Hopefully welcoming my new nephew into the world!

    Congratulations, @imrachellea !!! H&H 9 months!!!

    Month/Cycle: 1/1

    CD/DPO: 26/11 (Estimate since I don't temp)

    Timing: -5,-4,-3, +1,+2

Testing Plans: I couldn't wait, so I POAS this morning with a cheapie and got a BFN...So I'll try again on Sunday if AF hasn't showed up yet...

Symptoms/Rants/Raves/Chart Stalk: I DO have a rant today...I love both of my SILs and their families very, very much...But I have one that lives out of state and they stay at our house when they come home. I am TOTALLY fine with that. I enjoy getting to spend time with my nephews and niece and my SIL while they are there (her H is a complete a$$, so he isn't really important)...BUT...Every time they have stayed with us in the last 10 months, they have ruined/damaged something in our house...First it was my brand new dining room table that now has scratches all over it, then one of the kids (6, 8, and 10) dumped my last pair of contacts down the drain, two weeks ago they didn't make sure that the back door was closed and locked and I woke up to it raining into the house, and this past Sayurday, while DH and I were out of town to visit my BFF, my SIL cut food on my counter instead of using a cutting board, and now I have knife marks all over my fking counter...And DH won't say a damn word about it. He doesn't know it yet, but he is about to spend $300 and some of his time to help me redo the counter tops. WWWTTTTFFFFF??????

GTKY: What's something you're looking forward to this week?

National Cheesecake Day for half prices slices from The Cheesecake Factory for a double date night with DH and my SIL and BIL...But mostly I'm looking forward to seeing some more BFPs for you lovelies!

Edit: I DID have a rant
  • @fitMrs0- AF just started.  no need to test or worry about temps for tomorrow.

    ***Warning, loss mentioned***

    Congrats! @imrachellea!!

    Month/Cycle: 1/1

    CD/DPO: 23/10

    Timing: 0 and +1

Testing Plans: Silly me broke down and tested at 7dpo and 9 dpo and got a BFN both times

Symptoms/Rants/Raves/Chart Stalk: Still have lots of symptoms- not feeling well at all. Hot all the time, weird white bumps on nipples, high temp, sore back, weird cramping, headache, dizzy, and nausea on and off for 3 or 4 days now. Spent this morning at work dry heaving in to the toilet and for the rest of the day have taken little bites of crackers, some pretzels, blueberries, etc. Not looking forward to the hour+ train ride home where there are weird smells on a good day. Its my first cycle of the pill so I have no idea what's going on- the majority of the symptoms could be PMS after 15 years.

Also, two out of three of my very good friends who are pregnant had miscarriages this weekend. One who has two children at 6 weeks and she is kind of doing okay. The other who was her first at 18 weeks and she is really not okay. Very very sad.

GTKY: I'm looking forward to going to an outdoor free concert with a friend on Friday to see a new musician I really like!

    *edited for clarity
  • @greenhillgirl if you're having simptoms you will be able to turn a test positive..
I'm sorry to hear your friends are going through that. Its very sad :(
  • @sunflower071913

Yes, that is what I hear so I am guessing it is either a bug plus pms or i'm testing too early. Since its my first cycle off the pill its more likely new pms symptoms for me plus something making me sick. I wouldn't know when my expected AF date is anyway, so I wouldn't know if I'm testing too early. Guess I'll just wait for AF at some point.

Thanks- yes it is very sad about my friends. The one really wanted a baby and they had gotten some bad chromosome indicators but she carried her over 4 months so I just really feel terrible. I know there's not even anything I can say!
  • Month/Cycle: 1/1

Symptoms/Rants/Raves/Chart Stalk: This is my first month charting so I'm still learning.  I'm kind of nervous since I only got one positive OPK.  I'm pretty sure I O'd Saturday, but won't know until I get another high temp.  I'm adding my chart if anyone is interested.

GTKY: I'm looking forward a big Art event here on Saturday.

  • Hi everyone! I am new to this board ! What do you mean when you say cycle/month?

I am currently in TWW..this was our 4th month trying. (TTC #2)

    Month/cycle: 4
    CD/DPO: 10
Timing: Not sure what is meant by that?
Testing Plans: tested at 8DPO because of a dream I had night before and it was BFN..not going to test anymore because I am sick of seeing negatives. If I miss AF though I of course will test lol

Symptoms/rants/raves: I don't want to get in trouble by symptom spotting..are we allowed to engage in mindless rants and irrational symptom spotting ? Lol I had a major dip in temps on cycle day 7, below cover line, and temps went back up and are still up. Of course I'm hoping that was implantation dip but from what I'm reading chances are highly unlikely. Was having cramps cycle day 7 and 8 then stopped..started cramping a little today which makes me disappointed because AF will surely be coming :(

GTKY: I am due for me period on Friday so if I get it the only positive is that I can enjoy a previously planned night out at the bars with my girlfriends :)
  • Congrats @imrachellea!!

    Month/Cycle: 2/2

    CD/DPO: 25/10

    Timing: -3, -1, 0

Testing Plans: trying to hold out for 14 DPO

Symptoms/Rants/Raves/Chart Stalk: not too much happening here, temps are still high so we will see, if AF doesn't come will test at 14 DPO

GTKY: What's something you're looking forward to this week? I have off from work Friday, me and DH are going to see the Impractical Jokers live, not sure if anyone has seen the TV show but we think it's hysterical so I can't wait!

I am so jealous of you seeing the Impractical Jokers live! I am hoping they will come close to where I live so that I can see them. DH and I both love this show. I can't watch it while I'm on the treadmill anymore because I fell off it one time while laughing so hard. I hope you'll report back about the show!
  • Not sure if this is TMI but I was reading on FF about how to check your cervix so I figured I would try and see if I could figure it out and it was surprisingly easy to me and made sense based off what I read...when I went to wash my hands after I noticed tiny bit of brown! So I guess it is more than safe to assume AF will be here! Ugh I hate TTC

It totally is reassuring because even if I "feel" symptoms, I will know it's too early to have implanted. I will also know when AF will show. But more than anything, charting for a few cycles will help me get a grip on symptom spotting. I will be able to see exactly what's normal for me and what isn't.
