Still undecided. Leaning towards no, it should really be her choice even though pierced ears look so cute!

Vaccinate your child? Yes. Will probably take to the doctor about a delayed vaccination schedule and see what the science says about it but without a doubt the kid will be vaccinated

Baptize your child? No, I'm Southern Baptist, DH is Lutheran but agrees with me on this one, Baptism is a decision to give your life to God and declare Jesus as your Lord and Savior, not something a baby can decide.  We may however decide to have a Christening/Blessing

Keep the name a secret? I would like to, since we are going to find out the sex, it would be nice to be able to surprise them with at least one little gem.  "Hi Grandma, meet your new granddaughter Jane/grandson John."

Dh is Jewish and we had a bris for ds. We will do the same if the little timbt turns out to be a boy (is it bad that this makes me hope a little for a girl? It was just so stressful last time).

Pierce your daughters ears?
At some point I would allow it. Not sure what age though.

Vaccinate your child?
Definitely! (Though maybe not hpv, need more research) I could never live with myself if I didn't and my child got the disease.

Baptize your child?
No, I come from a Christian family, but I am not spiritually religious so it seems hypocritical to do it.

Definitely! I have no patience.

Keep the name a secret?
We will do a name bracket like last time (tournament bracket where the tip 32 names compete against each other), but the final decision will be ours and will not be made until baby is born.

Pierce your daughters ears? Not as an infant. I would wait until elementary age and even then, not until she asked.

Baptize your child? We don't believe in infant baptism. We will do a dedication but LO will make the decision when older and wanting to make a public declaration of faith.

 Baptize your child? no, we haven't yet.  I am Christian, DH is not.  However I don't have a church that I regularly attend and don't feel comfortable making the commitment and following through.

 Find out the sex? YES!  Although DH says he wants to be surprised on this one.  Not sure why on #4 he's decided to be team green.

 Keep the name a secret?  YES!  We have always found out the sex and shared that with everyone, so I like there to be some element of surprise.  Plus I don't want other people's opinions on our names and we usually don't have one until the baby is born! ha!

Keep the name a secret? Yes!! I think I would be so hurt if someone criticized the name I loved and made me rethink it. Not even to think about all those stories you hear about people stealing baby names! Plus, I have friends that told everyone they were naming the baby after the dad and everything at the shower was to Junior and monogrammed and everything then they had the baby and went and named him something else instead. So I'd like to reserve the right to change my mind at the last minute without people continuing to bring it up for the next 5 years like they've been going through.

Vaccinate your child? Absolutely. It still freaks me out that 10 month old unvaccinated DD (MMR isn't until 1 yr) was at Disneyland not long before the measles outbreak started there.

Find out the sex? Not this time! We have one of each so I'm finally brave enough to wait.

Keep the name a secret? Not sure yet. We told when we knew the sex but it feels different when the sex is unknown.

Baptize your child? Jury is out - we are not super religious (although I am technically catholic and DH is methodist). I think religion should be a personal decision that shouldn't be decided for a baby, but it's kind of a family thing to do it.

Keep the name a secret? Probably not. DS name has been chosen for a while (both family names) so it's not exactly a secret although we have never screamed it from the roof tops. Might be nice to have one thing to ourselves though I suppose.

Circumcise your son? Don't know this is something we are still discussing. DH had penile surgery as an infant so he didn't really have a choice so he is unsure about his feelings. 

Pierce your daughters ears? When she is older. My parents used it as responsibility lesson (cleaning switching earrings etc) That I still remember so I would like to do the same. 

Vaccinate your child? Yes, a million times YES!

Baptize your child? No. Neither my husband or I regularly attend church. Will be interesting to see how my stepmom reacts to this as she is a practicing Catholic. 

Find out the sex? I don't know. I always thought I would be team green, but now that the baby is a reality I'm not sure. 

Keep the name a secret? Yes, if LO is a girl we will name after my mother who passed away and DH mom. If it is a boy we will not being following in DH family tradition of naming sons William. So we want to avoid anyone trying to talk us out of these decisions. We are firm on our decision its just easier not to listen to the complaining.

Circumcise your son? Yes. I understand the controversy, but because my brother was not circumcised at birth it had to be done later for medical reasons. I'd rather avoid it.

Pierce your daughters ears? Not until she (or he) wants to and we decide the kid is old enough.

Find out the sex? No. SO really wants it to be a surprise, and I'd like to hold off on gender-specific stuff for as long as possible.

Circumcise your son? Yes both of my sons are and this one if its a boy will be as well.

Pierce your daughters ears? Yes the younger the better I got mine done super late and I remember it hurting. My pediatrician pierces ears so I'm glad I can get it done by a medical professional.

Vaccinate your child? Yes we have to delay vaccines because my oldest had an allergic reaction to the Hep B vaccine so we only do one at a time and a month in between to make sure there aren't any reactions. For the Hep B we have to get them allergy tested first before they get the dose. Thankfully my second son didn't have the same reaction as my first son.

Baptize your child? Maybe I'm not sure yet

Find out the sex? Yes I'm a planner and need to know.

Keep the name a secret? No, I didn't with my sons but I really don't care what other people think since they are my kids and I love their names they fit them perfectly.
