My dad bought a box of buster bars on Monday and brought then to our house and then left them here. I may have eaten half the box myself this week..... if baby girl doesn't come soon I may just gain another 10lbs in the next two weeks waiting for her...
FFFC: I have no clue what a buster bar is....
This is what it's like for all the non-Americans on the bump any time any of the U.S. 'moms' mentions a brand name or fast food chain or whatever I still don't know what a boppy (?) pillow is....
@atthemoment I feel your pain though I was 34 when I had my first baby and had maybe held two newborns in my life, so you've got a few years on me
FFFC: I had a vodka cocktail last night (first and last alcoholic drink this pregnancy). It was so good. I had just attended a funeral for my old friend who passed away after her motorcycle was hit by a car while in holiday in the USA - some of you would have seen my recent post about this. It was pretty tough going emotionally. We were drinking buddies back in the day so I figured it's what she would have wanted
Haha, thanks. That looks like a travel pillow to me, I thought it must have been a breastfeeding thing from what people have said... I could of course just google it but isn't that what the bump is for....
I've always been terrible with kids. I rarely babysat, and I always hated it. I honestly never really liked other people's kids, but I was always dying for my own. :-SS
Yep that was me! Is me actually. And you know what? I knew I would care for my own kids and know how to take care of them, even if I didn't have all this experience with babysitting and crap. And I did. Trust your instincts and it all works out. I've heard on more than one occasion that I was super comfortable even as a first time mom and I have to laugh - I have never liked kids! I love my own obviously but I am only tolerating the other kids in this world! LOL!
