I started a squat challenge with one of my girlfriends, and it's been going great! I haven't lost any weight, but I'm starting to tone up again, and doing the challenge with a friend helps- someone to keep you accountable. The squats take maybe 5 mins out of my day, so are completely doable with a baby. Perhaps us May moms can all start a workout challenge together? We have a huge community here to keep each other accountable - maybe?
I'm planning on doing the 30 day ab challenge starting August 1. I think it's similar to the squat one PP mentioned except for abs. I did it last summer and it definitely helped with toning. But I was also skinny then...
I figured it might help with some of this belly flab. But I still have 25-30lbs that I would love to lose. I was in the best shape of my life right before I got pregnant. Would love to get back to that!!!
There are 30 day challenges for pretty well every part of your body. I've done abs, arms, and thighs before. Planning on picking one each month and just running with it.

This is a great one @chambersbaby2015 . I'll start it with you!! I have 9 lbs left to lose, but I have a feeling those pounds are in my now way bigger, milk filled boobs, so I don't even look at the scale anymore haha. How do we check in? Start an "ab challenge topic", and just check in completed every day?
I keep a hula hoop in the living room. It's a great core body work out and distracts my little man. He loves it and mommy gets a quick workout and a break from holding him. I'm just 10lbs from pre pregnancy weight.
@gtellier - that sounds great. If I forget to start the discussion then you do it. But I'll try to remember. I'll also suggest we take measurements of our tummies before and after. We don't have to share that necessarily but it might be nice for our own information and to see if it's effective!!
I'm down 35 lbs from pre-pregnancy! Breastfeeding and walking DD around all day as she wants to be held AND walked/danced around is doing wonders for me!
I cant handle this flab...gross. i have to move home for the month with my mom while we get our new house ready soo workouts and healthy eating while they get their baby fix!
I plan on doing some BeachBody workouts but haven't gotten myself motivated enough. 26lbs down, 13lbs to go....and a lot of toning up to do. I'll start with the oh so easy Slim in 6 Series, and move on to either Piyo or Turbofire. I tried to start Si6 two days ago...i barely made it through the 25min workout and I'm sore :P Been looking on social network sites for an accountability group.
I went to the doctor today at 8 weeks postpartum and I'm so bummed that I havem't lost a single pound since a month ago! I only gained 25 pounds, so why is this last 8 pounds refusing to budge! It got me really upset and I bawled like a baby the whole way home.
Question about split abs... At my 6 week PP appt my MW said my abs were back together and to start doing whatever exercise I wanted. Later I did the whole sit up ish check thing and I still have about a finger gap (maybe slightly less). I've been too nervous to do any ab work because I don't want to do damage. Is that was close as they're going to get or should I be working on getting them more together?..
I have been doing Insanity with my mom since I got the all clear from my doctor. Starting to feel like I'm toning up and we plan on just starting over once we finish. It's hard at times but I feel like it is really helping! Also started Isagenix thanks to the advice of a friend who also had a baby about a week after me. It has helped my energy and curbed a lot of my cravings if anybody wants to know more about it let me know!

Isagenix is that that IsaLean? What are you using exactly? Ive heard good things and would like to give it a try.
Yes, it is the IsaLean stuff. I currently do 2 shakes a day along with 2 healthy snacks and a healthy dinner. I also do a cleanse every Monday. I also use the bars (especially if I'm on the go) and replenish for after my workouts. I'm still new to it and trying out new products with each order. Also, if your nursing the products you can use varies a little (ex. Can't do cleanse days) but if you want to know even more, you can send me your email and I can send you a list of those products that are okay and not okay while nursing (if you are nursing) and you can tell me your specific goals and I can make a recommendation for you

Yes, After pregnancy a finger width is as close as you're going to get! Keep doing those crunches
