Swimming in pool during pregnancy?

Is it safe to go swimming in a pool during pregnancy? I heard the chorine is bad and all I want to do is go swimming 3-4 days a week doing resistance exercises. Has anyone here frequently gone in the pool.

Unless your water broke or your cervix is opened or as @BrooklynBroussard would put it "you have a gaping vagina" you'll be fine.
