Has anyone done a 3D ultrasound at 14 weeks for gender reveal and had it correct or incorrect? I realize it's more accurate if you wait, I'm just looking for specific experience from people who did early gender reveals.
We had a 15 week scan (measurements put us at about 14 weeks 3 days) and the tech took a 95% guess and was correct when we confirmed at about 19 weeks for the anatomy scan.
I was just looking at a website that does these types of elective ultrasounds and it says guaranteed for accuracy and then in tiny print at the bottom some restrictions apply to that statement.
I'm doing a 4D at 15 weeks. My husband deploys shortly after so we're hoping to find out together! Just don't plan on making any big purchases until the 20 week anatomy scan I guess.
We're doing a 4D at 15 weeks and when they did my sister's previously they were correct it was a girl, so we're hoping baby will cooperate because we're doing the reveal that weekend at our wedding
There's a Progenity Verify blood test that u can get done at 10 wks. They count and check your chromosomes and dna. 99% accurate if it's a girl and 98% accurate if it's a boy. My friend did it last year and it was correct. I got the bloodwork done last week and the results got in today - but I'm having my dr tell my best friend who is helping me with a surprise gender reveal. If u want to find out early i suggest asking your dr about it! I got too anxious and couldn't wait!
All of the places that do the special ultrasounds where I live won't do it until 16 weeks, I know several times the cord has made Dr's or U/S tech's say a boy by the placement and find out its a girl later, I know its hard to wait but I think a few weeks makes a big difference.
I'm having one done 8/6 and I'll be 14.5 weeks. I'm excited but nervous for it to be wrong. They claim 99% accuracy, so we will see! All Of their reviews say they've been accurate.
Re: 3D Gender Reveal at 14 Weeks

Edit: wrote wrong sex
Married since 8/7/10
Good luck finding out the sex of your baby
Just don't plan on making any big purchases until the 20 week anatomy scan I guess.
